I have only used this filter once, but it worked great. It fit directly onto my coffee cup, and I had a cup of coffee within seconds. I do think it takes some time/adjustment to get the correct amount of coffee grounds for the perfect cup of coffee. as with any new gadget. There were no grounds in my coffee, and the filter is very easy to clean. I think this would also work well to make iced coffee or cold brew coffee. I will be trying both.

I am a pour over coffee in the morning kind of girl. I started to wonder about the adhesives used in the coffee filters and decided to upgrade to this filter free pour over cone. I love it. It’s easy to clean, well made, and my coffee tastes great.

I’ve had this out for two weeks and it works very well. I use a paper filter because the mesh is a little too large for the fine ground coffee that I have. It’s easy to clean, easy to use, and I hope it lasts a very long time. I was tired of putting my hot coffee into plastic. That is never recommended. I rather it leeches problems. With metal, I don’t have that problem. Perhaps ceramic would be better, but I would be afraid of dropping that one on my ceramic floor. When a ceramic coffee maker is dropped on a ceramic floor you get small ceramic shards of pottery EVERYWHERE!

I purchased this with the intention of using it to replace a similar plastic device I have for making single cups of coffee. I found that the grounds I used (Folgers brand) were too coarse for this device to be effective. The water immediately drained out and even splashed out the sides and it produced a very weak cuppa Joe. I was planning to get rid of it, but my husband happened upon it and asked if he could try making his Yerba Mate with it. He had previously been using a French press. The Yerba mate he has is basically a powder, and this thing worked PERFECTLY to provide a tasty, properly steeped Yerba Mate. We love the metal design for its durability, ease of cleaning, and to avoid plastics. Husband uses it everyday and finds it faster and less fussy than a French press.

I tend to be accident-prone and broke three glass carafes in a single year, so I decided to switch to a system that isn’t glass. I purchased a stainless steel 32 oz pitcher and on 10/24/2024 pour-over system. It works great—minimalistic and effective. I love the whole concept, but there’s one issue: the sieve. The wire mesh has started to come apart at the seam, unfortunately, and I’ve passed the return deadline

I would have given out, five if the cone and the steel bottom were to separate; I use this for cold brew. The coffee has a better Taste after using this filter, and the water flow is also nice. It fits most cups and pitchers.
