Q: Anyone have any advice on covers for screenplays? What do you use?

Use 110# card stock (or heavier). Black, white, and charcoal gray are the dominant colors used on the West Coast. Be sure to only use TWO brass fasterners (no middle fastener). There are a few spots on the web you can check out, too. Google "submit screenplay" and you will find much advice AFTER all of Google Advertisements. ** Best wishes for your complete success.

Q: How many brass fasteners do you get? Do you get the washers too?

We get 100 in a box and we do not use the washers, our files are pre-punched on thick folders and this style of fastener rarely pulls through the hole even with over 2 inches of paper.

Q: What brass size should I purchase if I want to bind a 95-120 page screenplay?

I bought the 1 1/4" for a 60 page screenplay. I'd go larger than that if you're binding a 120 page screenplay. Depends on the size of paper. Measure it and guestimate?
