Perfect for my toddler who still has trouble holding a normal cup or bottle properly. This water bottle has a loop for her to hold and the straw is leak proof even when turning it upside down! I was so relieved to finally find her a proper water bottle for daycare, she loves carrying it around. The straw is kind of hard to get going (you have to use medium suck strength) but once the water is flowing it works well. I had my toddler drink out of it the night before to make sure she was comfortable with the straw before dropping her off. She loves it!
