Arrived within a few days. Allowed me to bypass the old proprietary batteries that did not hold charge anymore and let me use an old usb battery bank so that I could record for way longer. Worked perfectly. Used on a sony hdr cx580v.

Works perfectly. Camera won't hold a charge but this little thing as long as it's plugged into the camera will keep it going.

Unlike what the product sheet says, it does not power up or charge my FDR AX53 Sony camera. The product does fit into the charging port but there's a discrepancy with regard to the power flow in some way.

my three stars isn’t really anything to do with issues about the product more about the use of it, it will charge older handy camcorders . However, the charge not hold as well compared to a standard battery charger would definitely just recommend buying that and some new battery packs instead opposed to trying to charge the the battery through the camera itself it doesn’t hold. The charge is good but definite value for the money and does fit properly.

Doesn't work. Camera was charging only for a little bit and then it sopped. It's better to buy a charger that has an adapter.
