It is flimsy plastic, and the kids love them. They battle the Beyblades and have a grand time.Do I wish it was sturdier - Yes.I have no idea how that would impact the play of the toys though. I can only hope it lasts. It was for a nephew so I won't be replacing it if they aren't super careful with it.

The stadium is good. It's not like a bow, the main area is uneven unlike a bowl and causes some interesting movement patterns for beyblades. The plastic is thinner than expected but is just thick enough to last for a very long time even if used roughly. The 4 pockets on the corner enables for knockouts besides spin finish and burst finish. 4 players can play at the same time in this. Not the most value for money thing in the market but it's Hasbro product and you cannot expect it to go any cheaper than this. If you are bored of regular bowl pattern stadium, definitely check this out.Note: because this is a thin plastic stadium, use a cushion or thick cloth below the stadium or it will make a lot of noise while playing. It's light and the battles can be loud because of beys colliding with the walls of stadium and by going into the pockets. Using a thick or folded towel below the stadium helps a lot.
