Easy to say, "These work and they're a good value". Not cheap, but a good value. Anything that keeps the works from gunking up and extends the life of the grinder is worth it and that's what these do. Very easy to install.

What a simple elegant solution to keep things clean at the top of your Breville grinder. It fits so precisely and is quality made of silicone and I don't think I will need to replace one for a long long time so a two pack to have a spare would have been fine. Its inexpensive so I don't understand why Breville isn't shipping their new grinders with one of these already added in place. Shrug..... but get one you will like it.

If you have a breville barista express this is a must have. Makes cleaning the grinder easier and improves the flow of beans. Meaning if your like me and single dose your shots the grinder retains less and you get a more accurate dosage.

The fit is perfect. I thought it might be different with the improved burrs, but the molded parts are the same.

Works as intended and helps keep the beans where they are supposed to. Makes changing the hopper swapping coffee beans a breeze. Strongly recommend and buy it along with their "bellows" extension.

Every time I went to take out the upper burr I felt like something was going to break because of all the grinds that get compressed around the exposed lip. This product is the solution to that. The upper burr twists right out with almost no effort now. In reality Breville should have thought of this and included with the machine.

Seems to fit my smart grinder, but when you lock the hopper it moves the gasket off center. So you must lift up on the hopper slightly as you lock it in place.

So, i'm assuming the purpose of this was to reduce retention a bit and make the grinder easier to do soft cleaning on. It was easy to install, literally just pop it on in the gap and that's it, great.... Or is it?I have it installed with a single dosing funnel + bellows which already had dropped my retention to 0.1-0.2g with some aggression. I added this just to make things easier to clean once in a while, but I find it doing absolutely nothing. The coffee grinds still get into that little slot that it covers, not as much as it would originally, but there's still enough grinds sneaking in there to make removing the upper burr just as difficult as if it was used with just the single dosing hopper/bellow. Retention is still the same, if anything I feel like i'm hitting the 0.2g-0.3g retention line a bit more than before and it might be because the grinds sneaking under this piece of rubber can't be forced down by the bellow's air.So TL:DR, This very lightly works, you get 4 so money isn't bad, but it's also not that useful. Some Single dose bellows bring this, not sure if worth buying.
