I've been looking for a 8:5 ratio gaming monitor for a long time, ever since I fell in love with the format a decade ago. I tend to travel and move quite often, and I also wanted to get a monitor that fit in my bag. UPERFECT had the right product at the right time, and what a product this monitor is. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the enhanced 144 Hz refresh rate is amazing for gaming at this resolution and price point. Setting up is simple, with only one cable needed from my PC. I have a DisplayPort adapter cable set up to provide a signal from my SFF PC. Note that you should set up a second USB-C charger for extra power, which is included. Very recently, it came time for me to replace the screen due to a defective backlight. Even though my purchase was already two years old at the time, UPERFECT support came in to help, replacing my monitor at no charge! I will always recommend UPERFECT for portable monitors from now on.

DOES NOT HAVE A TOUCHSCREEN- just a heads up to anyone who found this monitor through filtering for features. This one pops up literally every time for "touchscreen" filtered results, but it doesn't have one Excellent screen quality and viewing angles. Big without being too unwieldy and very light without feeling too cheap. I had low expectations for the speakers due to the chassis size, but they're actually not too bad- serviceable in a quiet room with no other options. It also connects to my switch directly without the need for the dock and will charge the switch through the cable with a big enough power supply. It does come with screws for the VESA mount as well, for those wondering Only giving 4 stars because the 250 dollar price tag is pretty steep and this unit should have a touchscreen and a full sized HDMI for that price/size, respectively. Otherwise this is a really good monitor that I'd recommend to someone with the dimes to spare

I'm glad I got a chance to try this monitor, because it's quite impressive. I've used a different model portable UPERFECT monitor and liked it a lot, and this monitor is a significant upgrade to that. The build quality is solid without being heavy. The cover/stand is improved over the previous model I owned (a minor sticking point for me on the previous one, but it's now better). All the features worked without a fuss - I connected the monitor to a 100W power brick via USB-C, then connected my laptop using one of the included USB-C cables, and I was able to easily enable HDR, FreeSync, and 144Hz refresh with no difficulties (Windows made it a bit of a pain, but the monitor was not an obstacle!) I was able to test the features out with some light gaming and they worked flawlessly - I was able to push high refresh rates with no tearing, and the HDR textures displayed great. What blew me away was the image quality - I spend my time around a lot of laptops and monitors, and in terms of image quality this display is pushing into the high end. HDR images and video were flawless, and the brightness is better than a lot of popular desktop monitors. There was no backlight bleed or any other light artifacting that I could see. Colors were bright without being oversaturated, blacks were deep, whites were vivid. Even without HDR switched on the image quality was excellent - crisp and bright without pushing into fatiguing territory. I'm just not accustomed to this level of image quality at this price point... it's a great value. It's not the best monitor I've ever seen, but it might be in terms of price/performance/features. The monitor is as portable as an 18" monitor can possibly be, but at this size it's not something I would toss in my backpack as a mobile daily driver. Can you carry it easily in one hand? Absolutely. It's something you can put up on a desk at a moment's notice, but not something you want to try to put on the tray table on an airplane. I didn't have to reach out to UPERFECT support with this monitor, because it worked exactly as expected. I did with my previous monitor from them though, and their support is thorough and helpful. I was impressed with their level of service, especially, again, given the price of the product. Another thing to be aware of is that they have a take-back recycling/reuse program - they repair, reuse, and repurpose parts from monitors they get back, and responsibly recycle what they can't. I haven't had occasion to use the service yet, but I'm going to keep it in mind once the time comes!

Excellent monitor — sharp image, smooth performance, and great overall quality. I'm using it with my handheld as well as with EGpu using mini HDMI, and performance was great both ways. Also the magnet on the cover is pretty strong and holds the monitor well into place. Ran into a minor issue early on, but customer support was fast, knowledgeable, and fixed it right away. I'll gladly say it's my new go-to brand now. Definitely recommend.

Good quality little display. Maybe not perfect if compared to something like a new MacBook screen but not bad at all. I use it as an assets library monitor to streamline my workflow and it performs quite well. Also tried to play on it and for such application it is phenomenal, especially for its price.

Update: I had an issue with my monitor, but customer support was extremely helpful throughout the troubleshooting process. Unfortunately, the monitor never started working again, but the company was kind enough to send me a replacement at no extra cost, which I truly appreciate. The screen quality is excellent, and the monitor itself is lightweight and easy to use.

Just got the1 8" 2K 144Hz model just last year and it was a great experience for gaming. The oortability is very handy as you can carry it around anywhere like a big table and can also connect your phone to it. Amazing monitor at a great price. Also, the customer service is very fast they solved an issue with the monitor within days.

This monitor is probably one of the best portable monitors I have ever used, it is easy to install, you don't have to purchase connector cables, such HDMI or USB C cables, as it comes included in the box ( 1x mini HDMI cable and 2x USB C cables), mind you, mini HDMI connector is not equivalent to a normal sized HDMI connector and this monitor only supports mini HDMI, and with HDMI, you will only get 120hz refresh rate, to get 144hz, you will need to use the USB C port. Overall, this is a really good monitor with high refresh rate ( no ghosting and smearing ) and has really good color reproduction, and has HDR and AMD freesync support. This monitor is heavy and large, very big, the photos might decieve you into think its not that big, but is, however the case is really nice and looks sleek, and its magnetic, however, the magnets will only attach to display itself, if the alignment of the monitor is correct, if the ports of monitor are at bottom left, then only the case will properly attach to display, if you invert it, it wont work, as there is only one metal plate inside the monitor, which is kind of a bummer, however except that, this monitor is 100% buy, there should be an OLED version of this display spec.
