Shielded and durable 40 Gbps Cat8 Ethernet cable
This is a durable Ethernet cable that offers a number of premium features, including up to 40 Gbps bandwidth and copper shielding and a sleeve rated for outdoor useKeep in mind that outdoor shielded cables like this are much thicker, stiffer, and less flexible than indoor cables or thinner cables like Cat 6. This makes it harder to use this cable with tight corners and spaces. Not everyone will be able to take advantages of this Cat8 cable. Note that Cat 7 cables often use non-standard size Ethernet connectors and are not the processor to Cat8, that would be Cat 6A. Cat 6 cables are capable of transferring at 10 Gbps (1250 MB/s) over shorter distances, although officially the Cat 6 specifications only call for support at Gigabit transfer speeds (125 MB/s). This is typically fine for most people. For example, if your PC only has a gigabit LAN port, then using a Cat 8 cable to connect just one PC to your router is mostly unnecessary, although it may provide marginal benefits such as reducing noise, cable cross talk, and EMI. For the price premium, this product is better suited for connecting routers or switches on a high-speed line, or server traffic, etc., something where the increased bandwidth is necessary. This Cat 8 cable supports speeds up to 40 Gbps. For reference, this is also the max bandwidth for a single Thunderbolt 4 port. However, this cable is thicker and less flexible than indoor and older Cat 6 cables because it uses heavier (thicker) gauge wire, and shielding over each twisted wire combo, (S/FTP or shielded foil over twisted pairs). The increased shielding protects against signal interference which could be useful if you have a lot of other cabling or EMI devices in your house. The black silicone clip protector on this cable is a bonus, and helps protect you from losing the plastic clip. I got this cable solely for indoor use, and it is working great so far. I used this cable to connect my upstairs node to my downstairs node, for better traffic between two floors of my house over a wireless connection. Now three of my wireless nodes are connected via wire for backhaul. You have to be careful to unroll it straight so there’s no twists, otherwise it’s really hard to roll out straight. While the wired connection is definitely an improvement over WiFi, the increased bandwidth versus a Cat6 cable is mostly unnecessary for me. I am still really happy with the performance. It also came with some cable ties which are useful for attaching this to the wall with clips. Keep in mind if you’re using this indoors, the black cable color really sticks out against a lighter background like a ceiling. In hindsight I should have ordered a standard beige or gray color ethernet cable.

Great for security cameras or HDBT
A Cat8 cable is overkill for a simple PoE security camera but the outdoor direct-burial insulation makes it an excellent choice otherwise and there's no harm in using an "overrated" cable for this purpose. For HDbaseT distribution, the shielded Cat8 cable is very good as it's a high bandwidth application. 200 feet gives you a lot of freedom in placing the receivers. The cable is well made with connectors that are solidly attached.

75ft Ethernet cable for outdoors.
It’s really thick heavy duty rubber coated cable. Not sure how it’ll handle 120 degrees direct sunlight but so far it’s ok at 109 degrees and it’s only been a few weeks. Don’t know the long run but great so far. No degrading signal either. Happy with it.

Super heavy-duty ethernet cable
When this ethernet cable arrived, I could immediately see why they called it an "outdoor" cable. This cable is thick and super heavy-duty!! So keep in mind, if you're going to be installing this in very tight spaces you'll need enough room to be able to bend and wrap this cable.Build quality of the plugs is top-notch. After doing some testing it definitely holds up to its speed ratings as well.Overall, for the price you definitely can't beat the quality of this cable, when you need a heavy duty cable that can withstand the beatings of outside weather. In fact, I would consider even getting longer versions of this brand (they go all the way up to 350 ft). They really did a great job of building a great ethernet cable.

Probalby not "CAT 8", but it is good enough
This is a thick, sturdy ethernet cable, which I intend to use for PoE cameras outside. I have not yet tried burying the cable, but the cable works fine when testing in my garage. The connectors are sturdy, and the cable itself is substantial.I haven't tried to test the maximum speed, but I highly doubt this is CAT 8. Typically Cat 6a is about this cost, so use your own judgement. I doubt many people will actually hit the speed limitations of Cat 6a in the first place, so I don't feel the need to take any stars off.

More Really Good Cable
The Following is a cut-and-paste review of another cable (50-foot, cat7) that I purchased at the same time as this one. Although this is a cat8, the quality and my thoughts regarding both cables is the same, so rather than re-word a very similar review, I shall simply restate my thoughts:There's a lot of this cable on Amazon -- different lengths, different manufacturers or sellers -- and I know this because I have purchased a lot of it. The thing that all of them share, however, is that they are all quality cables. I have received no "junk" cables in any of my orders, and this continues the trend. The only thing that could have been better was if this would have been 60 feet, but other than that, my suggestion would be that if you're looking for some cable, shop around on Amazon and find a good price. You'll more than likely be getting a quality item at a terrific price. For what it is, what it does, and what it costs: Five StarsI am the Totally Unbiased Reviewer Dude (T.U.R.D.) and that is how I see it.

Excellent Ethernet Cable
This cable is just what I was looking for. These thicker ones are meant to be directly buried into the ground, or left exposed to the elements for the duration of their service life. I needed a long length of cable to connect a few power over Ethernet security cameras on my property, and this did the trick. The cable was buried quite deep, to avoid being disturbed by occasional digging, or vehicular traffic, and then placed into the wall at the ends. Once everything was plugged in, the new cameras worked flawlessly. So far, I couldn't be happier with the performance of this Ethernet cable. It's definitely high quality, you can feel that right out of the box. If I'm ever needing more CAT8 cable, this is the first place I'll check!
