5 and 1/2 months postpartum c-section - product needs improvement
I wasn't sure if I should bother with this product as I was 5 months postpartum. After reading the many good reviews I decided to bite the bullet and purchase this girdle. I had high hopes for this thing. It helped my waistline a bit (Thus, the two star rating) But, it is extremely uncomfortable: 1) The two pieces of boning dig into my sides and is quite painful. 2) the band on the top keeps on slipping down so I am constantly readjusting it 3) it creates terrible looking back fat. 4) the band on top digs into my ribcage. 5) It is WAY OVERPRICED for what it is - don't think that because it is expensive it will work better than another girdle. I have talked to others and they have has success with other less expensive options. I wish I had found out before trying this bloody bellefit.Having said all that, it has helped my waistline a bit and when wearing the bellefit the stomach area feels snug.I would recommend to the company to change the design and make it into a bodysuit style in order to eliminate the back fat issue and prevent it from slipping down constantly. It is too late for me to return this item. I have been forcing myself to wear this thing because It was so expensive so I might as well use it and try to gain some benefits.Perhaps it would be more effective, had i ordered this earlier post partum... But that doesnt change the fact that it is uncomfortable and at times painful. I would tell others to be weary and do your research before buying. Also, if you have a long torso, I din't think this will fit you well because the top band is supposed to go under your chest and the girdle isn't that long.

Frustrated
I have diastasis recti so I wanted to try something to help me feel a bit more stable and secure pp. I'm 7wks now. While I could fit into it nearly right away I didn't try wearing it until a week pp. it fits well everywhere except that it digs into my rib cage and even after an hr of wear I'm in pain from the "bones" on the sides digging at my bottom rib. Not sure if it's just my abdomen length or what that makes t hard but besides that it fits well and made my tummy feel tightly secured while I was recovering. Sadly I've hardly been able to use it. As a stay at home, homeschooling mommy of 3, (a 6yr old, 9yr old, and now a 7wk old) I need to be able to be mobile and not so restricted; rib pain was making it hard. It didn't hurt if I just stayed standing but if I bent or sat down and sat back up the fabric shifted enough to cause discomfort on my ribs.I'm 5'1" 110lbs 7wks pp mommy of 3. 2 Caesarean sections and my last a natural VBA2C.

ok but could use a few changes
First of all, the sizing chart on their website might not work for some people. According to it, I ordered a size small, the day after I got home from the hospital from a natural delivery, I put it on. It was snug but to me it should have been very snug. I was able to put it on the tighter set of hooks after a day. After a few days it wasnt snug at all. Amazon exchanged it for the smaller size for free for me which was nice. The extra small was definitely snug but still after about a week I was able to move it to second hooks. The crotch closure is very uncomfortable. The only way I can handle it is if I wear this thing over a pair of yoga pants otherwise it rubs. The bodice should be higher so it fits all the way up over the ribs. Mine rolls down all of the time. Would I buy this again? Not so sure. I think it helped my belly area shrink but I wasnt a lucky one that got the "better belly than pre pregnancy"

it's a great fit. I'm giving it 3 stars for only ...
I am 5'1", curvy, a size 2, 115 lbs before baby. I ordered an XS, and it fits well....a bit of a struggle to get on 2 weeks postpartum from a c-section, but after a week, it's a great fit. I'm giving it 3 stars for only one reason...the stays on the side begin at the top of the corset, but they only extend down a few inches. The bottom of the stays dig into my sides. Being postpartum (30 lb weight gain in pregnancy), I am a little more fleshy in the hips right now. After an hour or two, the stays grow from uncomfortable to painful. I am about to take a pair of scissors and cut the darn stays out. Maybe that'll help.

5 Star Customer Service
I'm giving this a 5 star review for amazing customer service and quality, both things I value very much!I originally ordered the corset in the wrong size. Bellefit was amazing with helping me find the correct size for my body type. Their emails and phone calls were always prompt and helpful. They were fast at shipping the replacement and again fast shipping when I needed extenders.I've ordered a couple different body shapers from other sites but nothing compares in quality to the Bellefit. I like the "thickness" of it. If you have to work to pull it up, you can be confident it won't tear. The compression was nice and made me feel supported after the birth of my 3rd baby.I encourage anyone who wants to order a Belleift to get in touch with a representative to help determine the right size. It'll save you a bunch of trouble if you order wrong. But if you happen to make a mistake, rest assured knowing Bellefit will make things right.

Make your own girdle by strengthening your core don't actually wear one!
The compression belt does bring your body back into position somewhat BUT BE CAREFUL!!!! You are weak post birth anyway and even more so after C section. I wore this girdle all the time which actually contributed to seriously weakening my trunk muscles and I am having serious structural problems now. The first thing my physio said was get rid of the girdle ASAP I wish I had never worn it as I'm paying massively for it now. I would not advise using a girdle to anyone now postpartum or post c section. You should strengthen without one or your body becomes reliant on it which can leave you susceptible to serious injury.

Made a huge difference
I ordered this corset during my third week PP as one of my friends requested me to get it. I had gone under CS and was having difficulty moving around, it felt like my guts were going to fall out. I placed the order in Xsmall size and it came way before its expected delivery date. I was so eager to try it out that I put it on right away. I felt a tremendous relief right away. I was able to move around more freely without having the feeling of my guts falling out. It gave me alot of support on my back and especially my incision area. It held everything very tightly. I wear it during the day and take it off when I go to sleep. Its been only 3 weeks since I started to wear it and I can already see a big difference in my stomach. I strongly recommend those who are going to have a cesarean to get this corset, it will help you tremendously.
