Bloom for Yourself

I first followed April on Instagram and I am amazed by how beautiful the words written from the book Bloom for Yourself. I am immediately connected to it and I could relate to mostly everything was said in the book. It’s VERY therapeutic and such an amazing meditation to heal your broken heart, disappointment and frustration about life, your exes, yourself and how the world and people treats and thinks of you. It’s an amazing book for your MENTAL HEALTH and it helps to pull you back to the ground and LOVE YOURSELF. If you ever think about hating or not loving yourself or comparing yourself with anything or anyone in this world, please read this book, it will help to calm, soothe, connect, communicate, and understand you, almost like a digital therapist. Whenever I read the book, I just feel a whole lot better and I could maintain a good mental health and self-love. If yougot your heart broken a lot and started to question your self-worth, this book is a good friend to keep you going. I highly recommend this book to everyone, especially for girls and women. This book is amazing, her writing is so beautiful. So encouraging and uplifting, all the rights words you’ll ever need to hear. I came across this book as I grieved the loss of my spouse. It’s really helped crawl out of a dark space and bloom into a more tranquil one. I also purchased bloom for yourself part two and Reaching for the sun. Just as inspirational. I look forward to purchasing and supporting all of April Green books. I truly enjoy her writing. I recommend to all.

April writes to feed the soul. It feels as though everything she writes was made for you, and connects with you in a way you never knew was possible. She is so utterly connected to the human heart, and can describe things in a way that I only wish I could. As a fellow writer, I admire her work so dearly. Bloom for Yourself is a remedy for heartbreak. It takes all of the pain you have been through, and molds it into something both wonderful and beautiful.

This is a beautiful book of poetry and prose. This is great for personal use or to share with a group. It gets you to think about being kinder toward yourself. I read these aloud in my writing circles.

Very inspirational book. Gives you reminders on the little things we often forget in our daily lives such as breathing softly, enjoying every moment in life, and to focus on yourself.

Everything on this was about the imagery and that was perfectly enough to distract me from the idea of healing ( a watched pot never boils) and actually feel better once i finished reading this. However, the section about haiku, some off the pieces were actual senryus because they were about emotion/ relationships in place off nature. Anyway! Great read all around.

April Green hits it on the nail for me! Great read for any point in your life. Even reading again later down the road, I'm sure I'll still learn something new. Even got a copy for my friends and they also love it! <3
