Although this series is designed for children, it is also a great way for adults to relax and enjoy. Each small character and accessory is beautifully designed, and the assembly process is simple but very interesting. It has a strong nostalgic atmosphere and is suitable for decoration at home, adding a childlike fun to the room.

This is definitely one for anyone who grew up in the 90s. I remember playing with Polly pockets as a little girl and was addicted to friends, combine the 2 and you have the best nostalgic gift!

The compact/ coffee cup would not latch closed, also the sides are higher on one part so it looks odd. The hinges were all a bit wobbly. I suspect this is a return because the box was torn a bit by the flaps both sides. I discovered that if you put the table in its place at the front, and then closed it, it would latch because the table held the hinge in a slightly different position, however I can’t expect my grandchild to remember that so that together with the misfit elsewhere was disappointing. I have ordered another…fingers crossed this was a one off!Update…I received the second one..nearly £20 cheaper! This one is perfect…hinges all substantial, closes properly, all fittings for characters are snug. How the last one passed inspection I don’t know! However I’m happy now :)
