The product is as described, no complaints. Customer service was amazing. They recognized an item I purchased for my project that would not work correctly with what I was trying to accomplish and offered an alternative to solved my projects concerns. Kudos to BTF for their attention to detail on my purchase and advice to have my project work correctly.

Really good quality LED strip. The colors and whites are fantastic. I just wish it were a little brighter.

As you can see, the lights on the right are fluorescent bulbs and on the left is the strip. The color hue is about the same (adjusted), but the strip is just minutely, less bright. The color options for the RBGCCT is nice. I wish you didn’t have to have a voltage down regulator, (longer device on the right of 1st photo). But I understand the need for an LED Driver (smaller device). I wish they could be combined into a smaller package. I’m sure this may happen in time, as these become more popular.I’m not an electrician, but I am comfortable installing 120v powered things in my home. The install was easy, just time consuming. I’ll be adding more lights to the upper cabinets soon.I used black LED gutters with the install.

I used half a roll per cherry blossom lampshade and it turned out very nicely, I hot glued the strips to the internal support arches in the lamp shade.

I tried to use the BTF LED Kit for kitchen under cabinet lightening. Spent several hours fitting this product and my initial impression was favorable. However, 10 minutes after installation, the lights flickered and lost power except for about one foot of the strip nearest the controller. I also smelled a slight burning oder. I check the AC/Dc converter (transformer) and then the controller and noticed the controller was very hot to the touch. I immediately turned off the power (via a switch). I discovered the controller had over heated and was beginning to melt. I wouldn’t buy this product again. Stick with the reputable manufactures.

I wrote an original review with a low rating believing there was a problem with the white portion of the lights. It turned out the problem is with the controller so I am changing review to 5 stars. Colors are deep and brilliant.

The tldr: there were always dead led sections and each time it was different colors. I bought these for extra light on my 3d printer. I needed 3 sections about 1 foot each. At first I soldered the wires but there were dead sections. One strip might be missing red while another was missing the cool white. At first I thought maybe I messed up when soldering. So I took it all apart, turned down the heat on my iron and wouldn't you know it now the green is messed up on one of the strips. After that I ordered their kit to connect them together without solder. This went well and I liked the kit. Got all done and surprise surprise one of the strips is missing the cool white. I went through the entire roll and still is messed up. At this point I am going to live with it because I have done this project 3 times now and can't bring myself to do it again. Maybe stick with regular led strips and not fcob ones.
