I was skeptical at first, after all, I've never heard of this brand before, but I have to admit, most top end brands were 3x the price with all that came with this set and that goes a long way for me when it comes to value of any purchase. So far, the quality and design of the ratchet feels solid. There's definitely weight to this tool. Nothing feels cheaply made here. Great that it comes with two lithium batteries, a charger, sockets and a cool carrying case. I believe, in my honest opinion,that this product will suffice my needs in the engine compartment with great ease. I definitely recommend giving it a shot for all of you DIY folks out there.

Let me start off by saying this is my first Kimo tool. I was very skeptical of the performance I would get at this price point from a brand I have never heard of. But as a DIYer with a family i could not justify the price of some of the other brands.. So lets get started.. It comes in a nice plastic case with TWO 2.0 Ah 12v max lithium batteries! A charger and seven 6 point metric sockets (10.11.12.13.14.15.17) and one 3/8 to 1/4 drive adapter. Now the features! Its pretty light just over 2 pounds with battery. The forward and reverse toggle is easy to use. The variable speed paddle switch is great! I love being able to choose how fast the tool is operating. Its also easy the manipulate the paddle switch (i grip the ratchet high and operate the switch with my pinky finger). The fit and finish far exceeded my expectations it is very comfortable to hold and use. It has a LED light that for me kind of falls short. I would definitely like it to be brighter but it is bright enough to see the bolt head so it works. The 2.0 Ah batteries work great. I have put both batteries through multiple charging cycles and have preformed great. Battery life is pretty respectable and the paddle switch lock will definitely help with that. As the lock will prevent accidentally engaging the paddle switch in your tool box or bag! The fuel gauge is handy and easy to read with green yellow red lighting. It is rated at 40 foot pounds of torque. That is plenty for the use case for an electric ratchet. This is not an impact so if you are expecting that kind of performance you will be let down with any electric ratchet. This Kimo electric ratchet has been handling tightening and loosening all the bolts i have thrown at it! My only real con for this tool is it only spins at 400 revolutions a minute without a load. I would like if it would rotate faster. Bottom line is don't sleep on Kimo like I did. I am extremely satisfied with this electric ratchet and would recommend it to anyone.

I use this almost daily as a service tech. Usually used to remove panels under car or small tasks using torx or Allen bits. Battery life has been good. Feels sturdy. Great value for cost. It doesn't have a ton of torque power. But in all fairness, if you need that you use a different tool.

First of all, this tool definitely makes auto repairs easier then without it. I've had this now for several months and I have used it to change a water pump & thermostat on a Nissan, front end work on my Honda Odyssey, oil changes on my Infinity due to the skid-plate having 14 bolts to remove to access the oil pan& filter, and recently a starter on my sons Toyota 4runner requiring a skid plate removal. I'm not a professional mechanic but I've been doing my own car maintenance for many many years.I've done several involved repairs over the years and one thing that always bothered me was having to "slowly ratchet" nuts and bolts to access the repair component. I also watch lots of auto repair videos, love-em. I was watching a repair one day and saw a person using a power ratchet like the Kimo. So I said, "I'm getting one of those". I did my research as I always do for determining quality, past reviews and how it will help me if I use it.Back to the item review. The tool kit meets my "How will it help me" list. It is organized in its case and easy to use with different sockets. The tool feels heavy enough in your hands to feel good using it to torque down bolts. I break loose any nuts or bolts first and use the tool for its ease and speed. This is especially helpful in tight places where a ratchet is hard to use due to limited space. The torque on the tool is enough that you can reasonably tighten down on a nut or bolt, but follow up with the needed torque spec if needed using hand tightening.I've owned and used dozens of power tools while owning a remodeling business for 20 years. I've used high end brands and middle of the road brands, and cheap brands. I usually prefer middle to high end for tool quality and longevity. That being said, this tool is well made, is powerful for a DIY person, and comes with a good battery and awesome storage case. It has made car repairs much easier for me 100% and the price didn't break the bank.Also, my neighbors and a few friends who have seen my tools set up, they always ask, "Hey whats in the cool green case?". When I showed them, they all said "I should get one of these". So if your considering one of these, this one is a great choice, a 10 out of 10 for me! Similar to my review for the impact wrench, it's not the strongest but works really well. Strong enough for a lot of things like valve covers or other things around the engine. I bought this mostly for the speed. I typically break all the nuts or bolts loose first by hand, the zip them off with this. Then I'll use it to zip them back on real fast, then finish tightening by hand if this doesn't tighten them enough, which in many cases, it does. Overall, I like this cordless wrench and the battery life lasts nearly 3 days of continuous use before recharging and the extra battery is a big plus. I would definitely buy it again.

I’m not a professional mechanic but do a fair amount of my own maintenance. I have loved how convenient this tool has been and the battery life has been better than expected.I have never owned another one that I can compare it to so I will say it is the best I have ever owned.

I will not be without one of these for as long as I shall live. Fantastic tool to add to the arsenal and comes in handy on a daily basis. Works good and the battery lasts a long time. Does not have the strength of an impact wrench but heck it's not supposed to -

This product broke after 1 month of use. Bolts fell out of head, had to tighten again and at the end the head broke. Asked for warranty no warranty was after 30 days. If your Looking for a ratchet to use once a month would work but for daily use, save your money and by better quality.

Do not buy this garbage. I would give it zero stars but I can't do that. I contacted customer service and spoke with Sergio and he refused to do anything about it. I just want to warn others that this is not a good quality tool and to avoid it. I'm very dissatisfied and now have to order another one through someone with a better warranty.
