Dirty Billionaire (The Dirty Billionaire Trilogy Book 1)

I’ve read the first five books in Meghan March’s ‘Beneath’ series, and per her suggested reading order on her website, I moved on to the Dirty Billionaire series next before rounding back to the Beneath series later on. I got the first book free (as seems to be a theme with her series) and expected a similar degree of class and engagement as I garnered from the Beneath series, however, At the end of book 1 of the Dirty Billionaire trilogy, I was left feeling frustrated and wondering where the rest was. This ‘book’ is not nearly long enough to be called that at a mere 179 pages long, my 7-year-old daughter reads larger books and it ‘ends’ so abruptly that it’s almost as though someone just randomly selected a page with their eyes closed and decided that’s where it would end before moving onto the next ‘book’, of which they’d then like you to pay £3.99 for the pleasure of reading. Of course, by this point, you’re hooked on them and want to continue reading the story, however I’m loathe to pay almost £8 for essentially what ends up being one book, I wouldn’t even pay that for unputdownable novels by my favourite and long-time-loved authors. So in conclusion, I would rather this have been one book for which I would happily pay £5 or so for, instead of three which ends up pricey and annoying. I’d also add that the Beneath series was far better value at £23 for all seven books and each book being far longer and more readable than this ‘triliogy’

I downloaded this as it was free and a good way to try authors I had never read before.I hate this type of approach to writing. Lots of sex scenes that didn't add to the (feeble) plot at all. And then we get to the end only to find it isn't the end at all.If you want to know what happens then you have to buy the next two books. What a rip off. Without all the padding this could easily have been just one book. Not sure if this is a sign of laziness, greed or just a not particularly talented author.

I purchased a free copy of this book after seeing several good reviews on Goodreads. Yes, this story was well written and the author did a fantastic job or developing the characters. Yes, there was a plot, although it wasn't quite developed, it was still there. Yes, I would read more from Meghan March.But...This book was short - I finished it in less than a day - and the ending was annoyingly abrupt.I am not against shorter novels and often keep up with series that are 50 pages and less an instalment. But, I just feel it's an absolute cheek to ask your readers to pay almost £8 to buy three books - that could easily have been one - to finish the story.It's as if the author was bored and suddenly finished a chapter and thought to herself 'heck, I'll just end this one over here'.How can an author knowingly charge so much for a book when each one is so short, especially when I can walk into a bookstore right now and buy a paperback that is double the length, and the story is just as good - if not better - for less?This is definitely not the way to get new readers and keep them.And what is even worse is that when I finished the first book I was so eager to post a great review and let everyone know that they must buy this book and read it. Now, I feel like it's a con.So I'm giving this one a 4-star rating and only advise you to read it if you're willing to go down that rabbit hole and spend a ridiculous amount of money to finish a story.

What can I say Creighton Karas says it all. One part Alpha two parts hot and sexy. Ovary exploding lol.Bored Billionare only in the game as its just about winning. He's a know it all sexy beast, whose too confident for his own boots. But really dig deeper, and there lies caring guy.Bring in Holly Wix, country singer, trying to make it big by starring in a reality TV show 'make me a star'. But really she's stuck in a really bad contract with the label, making her put up with host of silly demands which are not nice or fair for her. So when she has a choice between Creighton and the label is obvious which way she'll be deterred.Chance encounter in a bar, leads to the best night of both their lives until Holly quietly walks away the following morning.It's great to see the chemistry between them, but at times I feel Holly is too harsh on Creighton.Left on a cliffhanger leaving you wanting for more. Thank you Meghan.

I loved the concept. Country girl meets billionaire with a dash of Fifty shades but this book was too short. Don't get me wrong, I loved how he got her attention, it was cool, but the rest felt rushed.I like the characters, how they gel and I love her best friend. This first instalment is on KU but imagine my surprise when I went to get the next in the series and I discovered it's not on KU and if I want to continue with the series it's £3.99 for the pleasure.As much as I like it I won't be continuing this unless it appears in KU or is cheaper to buy.

I enjoyed this book and bought the 2 sequels to finish the story. I was sucked in by Holly and Creighton's story and loved the dynamic between them. Their story and the way it was told was engaging. A very enjoyable read.I do agree with some other reviewers that although the first book was free, the further 2 cost a lot for what you were getting. I also think that the trilogy should have been one book. A total of 590 pages makes for a decent book length. There was no reason to split this into 3 parts except for the money.

I couldn't finish this book I kept expecting it to get better but unfortunately for me it didn't. Holly was annoying she expected everything they he given to her and not work for it, she marries so she can get help with her career, no self respecting women would do that. Craigton , all he ever thinks about is his package. There were no descriptions of both in the way of looks so I presume the author just wants whoever is reading to envision their own characters. Even though Craigton is highly successful I never really knew what his company does. All the story is about is sex sex and sex nothing else ?

Ich bin irgendwie ein wenig unentschlossen wie ich das Buch bewerten soll. Es gab einige Teile, die mir wirklich gut gefallen haben, aber dann auch wieder Dinge, die mich sehr gestört haben.In die Geschichte bin ich gut reingekommen. Das Setting mit dem Musikbusiness war interessant und Holly war mir sehr sympathisch. Sie wirkte zwar ein wenig naiv und unerfahren, aber das machte sie sehr realistisch, insbesondere in Bezug auf das Musikbusiness, in das sie so plötzlich hineingeworfen worden ist.Die erste Begegnung mit Creighton war unterhaltsam, aber ich habe nicht so richtig verstanden, warum die beiden gleich Nägel mit Köpfen machen ohne sich wirklich zu kennen. Creighton ist der typische arrogante CEO, der bekommt was er will. Leider mochte ich seine kontrollierende Art überhaupt nicht und was er teilweise zu Holly gesagt hat, ging meiner Meinung überhaupt nicht.Die Chemie und der Sex zwischen den beiden war jedoch wirklich heiß und da das Buch mit einem Cliffhanger endet, werde ich auch die weiteren Teile der Reihe lesen.

I thought I had read all of Meghan March’s books and couldn’t believe I’d totally missed Creighton and Holly’s story - Billionaire marries an up and coming Country Music singer. Book 1 is about their unusual meeting and their insta marriage. It also begins with Holly trying to lay some boundaries around the importance of her flowering career. This was great and I am so looking forward to where this is going. 5 Stars + again Ms March!!

Holly watches the Alpha Dog as she calls him telling the other man to go away, it’s only then that Holly remembers where she’s seen him before – he’s a billionaire.Creighton heads out on Christmas Eve to have some fun and sees a woman getting unwanted advances, he jumps in and stops them for her what he didn’t expect was the feelings and how much he wants this woman. Heading back to her hotel room when Creighton asks her name and she won’t tell him he thinks she is perfect. After waking up alone Creighton devises a plan to find the mystery woman in a huge way.Holly wakes up to see Creighton’s plan to find her in a big way, all over the media, she must decide on whether to take a chance, after talking with her friend she heads off to meet Creighton.After a trip to Vegas and a wedding, Holly wakes up to a media storm around her for leaving her fake boyfriend and a very bossy husband, and ends up having hot shower sex. After a few heated discussions, Holly agrees to let Creighton carry her burdens, all she should do is give him her trust and control.Just when things are going well between the two, and Holly is starting to give over her trust to Creighton he lets her down.

All the three books can be included in one set but its made a three part with unnecessary cliff hangers at the end for money. Not worth spending the money spent

A Billionaire and a rising country western singer, two of the most unlikely matches connect in a very hot and steamy way.Due to some very unusual circumstances, our unlikely pair marry and start to forge a tentative match and hidden feelings for one another. Both characters are well matched in every department and though they both went into the marriage thinking of it as a temporary fix, life and love are telling them this just might not be the case. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. I trust the next one will be as exciting as this one was!

Holly is young and at the start of a music career but her contract with her music company is expecting things of her that she isn’t prepared to give, such as pretending to be engaged to a fellow musician who is constantly in the newspaper while caught in scandalous circumstances. She bites the bullet and goes to Creighton after an explosive one night stand. She lays out her cards and things don’t quite go as planned, until they sort of do!Intrigued to know more:)

I didn't relies I would love this book as much as I do!!! My father was a cowboy like straight out of a western style with tall tails and this story just brought all my love for country out! Plus 's the story is so well developed and I just love holly to pieces

Set up well for the next story. It moved quick a few parts were a little eye rolling inducing. The characters are well developed. Creighton is a little odd, domineering, and loves to get his own way. He may have used a word often that i absolutely despise and think it would have been a great read without it because if i'm honest i don't know anyone who uses that word in that context, ever. Holly has been dealt a crap hand and is trying to make the best for herself. She submits to Creighton but she also holds her own with him and the combination is what i think makes me like her, she wasnt a push over.There is a lot left unsiad, and i think for their relationship to work we obviously need the next book, it will require work on both their parts but i am not sure Creighton is up for it.Hopefully the next book will answer some questions and be as enjoyable.

I would have thought given that Creighton is a billionaire he would have had ways to find out about his one night stand. I liked the way he went about it though which was a fun and a bit out there. I was especially surprised that Holly went for it. This first book was very entertaining and once I started it, I didn't want to put it down. Creighton is your typical dominating alpha and Holly a feisty younger who refuses to be ordered around. They have great chemistry and lots of steamy sex. Really enjoyed this read. Looking forward to part 2.

Interesting story but for me it fell a little flat... i wont be continuing the story until the price comes down.Steamy - YesSubstance - MehHow will Holly get out of a pre-arranged engagement... a one night stand with a hot billionaire & a quick Vegas-wedding?After that its just steamy sessions, mis-trust and defiance.

This book deserves 5 stars. I am just starting the third book. The story is very well written with a complicated. It compelling storyline full of great characters you love. A strong female and an alpha male kinky billionaire who falls hard, it is awesome to read but, I feel a little PO'd at the author for giving us under 200 pages in each instalment. That isn't right. I'd have been happy to pay as the story is that good but dividing 500 plus pages into 3 small books with 3 payments irritated me. As I wrote though, the story is that good so go ahead and read you won't be disappointed but I hope the author reads this

I liked the country theme of the book but when it ends in a cliffhanger, I'm not a fan!I do not recommend this book. Cliff-hangers are a ploy to sell more books and I want a beginning, a middle and an end to the books I read.

Creighton is a billionaire, Holly is getting used to fame sick of the dealing with her idiot managers she goes out the town with one requirement a one night stand and she gets that in the form of playboy billionaire Crey but when she disappears before he wakes he can't leave it alone and goes in for the chase by placing an ad looking for her.The book leaves you hanging until the second buts it's worth it

What a delightful page turning read. A strong talent girl searching for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and starting up the hill to get it. An out of body step and she runs into the alpha male who always gets his way. Only this time he does and then doesn’t, then he does, sort off. Just when you think you got it all figured out you miss the curve and are back in the dirt spinning. If you like strong minded girls who give it as good as they get and males who always get their way or you take the highway, you will love this book. Maybe it is because he is taking the highway. I can’t wait to buy the second one and see if they are star crossed or just a lost one-night stand gone bad.

La verdad es que esta novela me la esperaba de otra manera por la recomendación que me hizo una amiga, pero he disfrutado mucho es una narración amena y fluida en todo momento.
