This cleat tool is of course necessary if you wish to replace the cleats on golf shoes. My old cleats were broken and worn on a pair of shoes that I had not used for some time. Although the cleats were not in good condition this tool got them out easily and the replacement with new cleats was an easy task. Highly recommended

An effective tool - took very little time to remove and replace my well worn studs. Good bit of kit.

The regular attachment works very well and the ratchet system makes removal of old cleats a doddle. However, the star of the show is the "ripper" attachment which managed to extract a cleat that was almost totally worn away. Excellent.

Great labour-saving device. With the muddy conditions at the moment, I find I need to take out the cleats quite often to clean them out. This implement has two removable attachments, one is a regular "wrench" and the other is a different configuration which fits the cleat without the need to insert the two pins - this way even the most stubborn cleats come out very easily. Highly recommended!

I was trying to remove worn studs from a pair of Footjoy Hyperflex golf shoes only bought last season. It took ages to remove these studs even with this tool but I think that’s the fault of the Footjoy studs rather than this tool. The 2 prong attachment did help but the outer edge of the worn studs disintegrated and it was therefore very difficult to engage this tool into the 2 small holes in the worn studs. There is a second attachment designed to “dig into” the worn studs but I found this wider than the worn studs and using it could have damaged the actual soles of the shoes. A smaller diameter attachment would be far more practical. The 2 prong attachment was excellent to locking the new studs in place but don’t rely on this tool solving the problem of removing worn and disintegrating studs.

I purchased this Nov 23. To date, I've used it to change about 10 cleats. The remove setting now does not engage making the tool useless..

This is a very good spike wrench and easy to use. I really like that it comes with keys to work on different styles/types of spikes. I used this to remove some very stuck spikes that should have been replaced long ago and the wrench worked well for the removal of the old spikes and installation of the new spikes.
