Trust! They really work. Easy and convenient.
I would give a 10 Star review if I could. Used them in a recent trip and they worked really well. It was raining a lot and my feet didn’t get wet at all. My tennis shoes were completely dry. They are snug so not sure of they would work with bigger shoes, I used them with Keds. If you don’t have space in your suitcase but need rain boots, this is definitely a great option. I had them in my purse and put them on as needed through the day. Tip: put them in a ziploc bag so you can put them away after you used them.

Very Poor Design
The flaws are difficult to describe. The galoshes are folded flat with the zipper on the side of the fold. As a result, the back and the toes protrude away from the shoe, like elf shoes would do. This severely pinches the toes and back of your shoes. This odd design also puts the treads along the side of your soles and it wraps over the edge of your shoes, leaving a flat, non-treaded area in the center of the bottom of the galoshes which will increase slipping. All of this weirdness also means that sizing is off and, if you really want to deal with the flaws, order a size larger than you normally would. Avoid it, there are better options.

Save your shoes in the desert
I brought these with me to Jordan where we visited Waddi Run. The sand turned everyone's sneakers and hicking boots orange -except mine. They are great in the rain or snow but were a shoe saver in the desert.

MIght work with dress shoes, but not with regular running shoes or trail shoes
I couldn't use these over either my running shoes or trail shoes, because both the front end and back of the overshoe are tapered. If you put a shoe inside that has a broadly rounded shape front and back, as almost all running shoes or trail shoes do, this creates two big bubbles in the sole of the overshoe. The bubbles get folded over flat when you walk on them. Not only does this make it unpleasant to walk in these overshoes, but more importantly, if you walk on any hard surface it is going to put a lot of stress on those parts of the sole. Those bubbles are going to cause a failure in the rubber for sure. They are going to tear.

Size
I used these for a bike ride this weekend 105 miles and they kept my feet dry. I should have gone with a smaller size but it all worked out!

Runs small
Too small to be able to use. Hard to put on over my shoes

Worked great for my trip to rainy Ireland
I was going on a trip to Ireland, and in various Ireland, travelFacebook groups people said to make sure you wear waterproof shoes. I also want to travel as light as possible and wanted to use shoes I already had. My shoes have a cloth upper and I knew they would not be waterproof. So the last minute I ordered these silicone covers. My shoes are the traditional athletic shoes with the thicker sole that has a bit of a flare. I was concerned about the fit, but it wasn’t a problem. I could get them on fairly easily. I was careful because of the reviews saying they tore. I was actually able to pull really hard without a problem. I put these on when we were going to go for a walk after it had rained. We were walking on a gravel road and also in the grassy area. I had no leaks and no tears. We actually walked more than 15,000 steps that day. I thought for sure the bottom of the liner would wear through, but it did not. I am really pleased with these. I don’t know how they would hold up for weeks and weeks of wear, but other than being dirty, I didn’t see any wear of the tread at all after the one day of heavy use. The ribbed tread on the bottom actually gave me better grip than the shoes themselves. For $16.99 it was a good solution that allowed more compact packing of my suitcase, as opposed to bringing another pair of shoes.
