The brush itself is good quality and ok to use. But what I hadn't realised is that it is too fine to reproduce the existing artex pattern. If you want something to do a whole ceiling this would be fine. But it's no good if you want to re-artex a small area.

Just what I was looking for. Flat above me had a leak so damaged my artex ceiling. Having replaced a section of plaster board needed to blend in the finish which I managed with this.

Foot came through ceiling when replace floor boards in bathroom. Tried several plasterers to come to do a repair, as it was artexed ceiling, no one was interest. So I decided to do in myself. the stipple brush was easy to use, as I needed the match the circular pattern that was already there. The brush was very good to clean. With the cost of the brush, a small tub of artex and small plasterboard it came to less than £32-00. The brush was good value

Quality little tool, had to patch in some artex after buying our house. This beauty did the job, well made, easy to use and easy to clean if I ever need it again. Highly recommend

Only capable of a very fine uniform stipple. Not the chunky random stipple I was seeking.

good solid brush.needed it for a leak in my ceiling which caused damage .thicker stipple than my old artex but i think that was our fault with the plaster.does the job
