Made some NY strip on the grill. I like medium well to medium. From what I read 155deg is that range. I checked it pulled them off at 157deg. Very good slightly more done than desired but the ability to control is amazing. Next time I will pull them at 150deg and call it done. It almost gaurentees consistency! Now the reason I bought it was I tried a beer can chicken and pulled it too early. It was close and all white but deg not done all the way. I finished in oven but now I have a surefire way to check it.***** I also found that hot tAp water is 122deg from our water heater. That is about 20 deg hotter than I had assumed.

Bought this for my daughter to use with her BBQ grill. I checked it against another type of thermometer that I have and they were within one degree. Close enough . This one goes right up to temp right away. Much better than my other one and it has a light so i do not have to hold a flashlight to see it like I do with mine. Love this and plan to buy one for me. . .

I had never heard of this brand name before but it has great reviews so decided to give it a try. My family is very impressed with how quickly it gives out the reading. It's simple to use. It even has a magnet built in so it doesn't slide off your grill. Great product!

Had this for about 2 months before it broke. It was a little tight when opening and the prod, and this may have been why it broke. Was going to open it one day and the prod snapped off the hinge. There are a bunch of this style thermometer on Amazon right now and this one had pretty good reviews so it was a little disappointing when it broke so easily.

This has been a good product for the price. Use this thermometer frequently every day at work. So far, it's held up to the demand. Lots of nifty features such as auto on & off by using folding probe, magnetic, instant read with a "hold" if necessary that has a nice back light so easy to read.

I have had this for over two years now. So handy, right on the side of the refrigerator thanks to the strong magnet.Battery has never run down yet. Very easy to use, shuts off by itself if you forget. Much better than others I have owned.
