Good value for money
The cable release is fine.Comfortable to hold and smooth~ish to operate. The nipple end screws in to the camera easily.Considering is is 12 UK Pounds it is good value for money. The two criticisms are(1) The outer black sleeve feels cheap and doesn't seem to be very durable - you can deeply mark it with a bit of light pressure from your thumb nail.(2) The cable release isn't all that smooth - it is OK but no where nearly as smooth as my Linhof cable releases - but the Linhof costs about 45 UK Pounds.I bought this cable release to compare it to the Linhof - was I over paying for the Linhof or not.Too be honest, I'm still not sure.I think that I will continue to buy and use the Linhofs as my main cable release but keep one of these in each camera bag as a back up - as they are so easy to loose or drop somewhere inaccessible.

Looks as described, but haven't had an opportunity to use it yet.

Get what you pay for
Lasted a bit before it fell apart. Did its job holding up as a temporary replacement for a month or two but would never buy as a permanent tool

Poor quality
This cable release lasted about 3 months with only occasional use. The locking mechanism was a bit suspect from day one & then on a shoot is jammed & then subsequently broke. Would not buy this brand again.

Broke the first time I used it!
This cable release actually feels good quality, unfortunately it became loose the first and the locking mechanism never worked again after trying to put it back together. I’ve been through a few of these cheap mechanical cable releases and they always break, maybe time to shell out on something a bit better...
