Not too difficult to put together. Two people is better than one. We read carefully and referred to diagrams provided in instructions. Only question we have is how the hydraulic table works. No instructions for how to do that but we’ll figure it out.

This case is made of pressed wood, but a good quality of pressed wood. Looks good once assembled, but took some time to do. Helps to have two people, I attached the parts list as almost everything aspect of this cabinet needs to be put together. Some of the screws tore through the pressed wood, but thank goodness only a few. They provide a few extra screws and such, just in case, which is a nice gesture. The white coating/covering looks and feels nice but does chip easily. Nice product for the money and Amazon allows for pay over time with no interest. One downside I've noticed after using more, the machine tray wobbles a little. The lift casing has a little play on the sides and my sewing machine weighs about 50 pounds. I wish it felt more stable.

I purchased this Harriet sewing cabinet. I have spent years saving for one of these cabinets and could not be more disappointed. I expected that an Arrow product would be good quality, especially since I spent more than $800.00 on it. I have put together a lot of this type of furniture with the cam bolts and cam locks. I'm good at it. I have never experienced more issues with the finish cracking and breaking off when the cam bolts were screwed in. About 75% of the bolts I put in caused the finish to crack and break. The material it is made of fell out in chunks. The drawers are the worst. The predrilled holes for the cam bolts are not aligned properly. This causes the drawers to be out of square. One is so bad, I couldn't even put it together. The other 3 went together but are crooked. They do not line up correctly and will not close properly. I have attached pictures of some of the worst issues. Please advise what can be done to correct this situation. I contacted the manufacturer who grudgingly agreed to ship some replacement drawer fronts, but had no comment on the poor quality of the item. This item does not even deserve 1 star. I would not recommend buying any Arrow sewing cabinet. I bought a different cabinet from another manufacturer at the same time. It cost $150.00 and only 1 crack in the finish on this one when I put it together.

Tried to assemble for Christmas but the manufacturer included the wrong assembly instructions. After I received the correct instructions, it was determined that who ever put them together never assembled the cabinet using them. When attaching the door to the hinged door frame you realized that the bottom shelf blocks the last cam lock so you can’t access it. For the amount of money you would think they would not have these mistakes.

Very easy to assemble, all items are clearly labeled, only took a couple of hours. This is a very sturdy product and is exactly as described.

This is an awesome sewing cabinet. I Love the lift and the fact it can be totally closed up And you don’t know it’s a sewing cabinet. It has good storage also.

Very pleased. Have an experienced handy person put this together. It took my wiz of a daughter all day.
