One Tree Hill: Season 9 [DVD] [2012]

**SPOILERS AHEAD**The final season of my favourite tv series didnt disappoint. The season was filled with moments that made me remember why there is only One Tree Hill and i will always hold it close to my heart. The season was one of the best of the series and the series finale (excluding the chris and chase moments!) was perfect, absolute perfection and classic One Tree Hill. I want to be truthful so I will say what wasn't so good about the season but also what was.What i didnt like about the season was: * Making Chris Keller a series regular. Chris is a good character and Tyler Hilton done an excellent job portraying him but his character isn't right for a full time role. * While I was extremely happy with Chad Michael Murrays return I feel like they could of done better with Lucas's return to Tree Hill, which we have been waiting for since he left!Now for the bad things about the dvd: * Adding a promotional dvd for the Vampire Diaries and taking a whole half of the inside dvd sleeve wasn't very good as this dvd is celebrating the final season of One Tree Hill and should of stayed like that! * They changed the dvd menu and it doesn't look as good as the previous eightWhat was the standout moments of the season: * Brooke trashing the Tree Hill Cafe * Lucas returning (I know I complained about it but it was still a great moment) * Haley going to the morgue * Dan getting shot * Keiths return * The cast singing 'I Don't Want to be' * The final montage!I hope this helps anyone :)! #GoodnightOneTreeHill

I have watched One Tree Hill from the very beginning and I was determined to see it through till the end. Overall I don't think it disappoints - it is an excellent show. While I had my doubts when some of the central characters left a few season's ago, it introduced new people with brilliant story lines. I must admit that I thought the show should have ended at season 8 - with such a beautiful ending. Yet I wanted to see how it all finished. At the beginning I was a little disappointed, I felt the story lines were a little old - and not very believable (Nathan getting kidnapped - really?), yet towards the end I was totally into it and the story lines once again stole my heart. It ended so well, with brining back old characters and tying up lots of lose ends. When it finished, I found myself thinking, it was just so good! This is a brilliant show - and one I am sure I will continue to watch and re-watch.

Season 9 of One Tree Hill, well what ca I say. I love the series, its great and this season was definitely the worst of them all. There is so much going on, I guess so they could finish any stories. Don't get me wrong there are some great bits throughout but with the loss of some of the better characters the show gradually went downhill.This is one of those series again which you either will love or hate, I loved it because it had drama and death and fun all mixed in and was something I watched when I was younger.

This season is perfect. This season (more than 7 and 8) clearly shows us, why One Tree Hill is so great. Because we identify with their feelings. It's amazing how my feeling can change from one minute to another, when I'm watching this series. THIS is the perfect final to the season! If you're in doubt whether to buy this season or not, because the previous ones (especially 7 or 8) wasn't you're cup of tea, then buy this! Old characters are reery returning for an episode or more and it's all produced very well. This season has a red line through the whole episode and it's defenitly woth every pound!Plus this is great value for money! I actullay thought 18 pounds was cheap for this season, but then I find the first 5 episodes of Vampire Dairies enclosed! Wauw, Amazon for the win!

Having followed this program from its early stages, I was a little disappointed that they decided to make a ninth series as I had thought everything had been tied up nicely by the end of the previous one.However I did enjoy the way the writers put together the final season, mixing some new story lines with the final arcs for the main protagonists. It's not perfect, and I felt that one story line in particular was drawn out for maybe and episode or so too long, but for the most part I really enjoyed this final series and was liked the way the final episode book-ended the entire show.

wanted to purchase the series set to complete my set, i love this series, even though i watched this through secondary school i have watched it a few times since and still think its a great series, not just for Teenagers!!I was really pleased with the service and I received the DVD within no time, just what I wanted to complete my DVD Set, which I ordered back in march however I have just got round to watching the DVD and instead of a disc 4 I have a vampire diary disc in the Box set! I am hoping One tree hill is only 3 discs long!

Enjoyed the final series as I hadn't managed to watch it until now. Found it a great way to end the show and liked how all the little stories were wrapped up nicely. Loved watching the extras on this DVD too, it was all very interesting to see how certain scenes are shot and the cast interviews were fun too.

As a fan of OTH, and owner of all of the boxsets, although this was great, it was a shame to see that there aren't many extras. Seeing as it was their FINAL season, you would think they would put as much as they could on including a better gag reel (wasn't the usual gag reel). They have put better behind the scenes and extras on their other boxsets! Still worth the buy though.
