The light purple/lavender color is closer to lavender (more blue than red in the color). It's a subtle lovely color. Not overbearing. The material is not Cotton. It's lightweight to medium weight so it won't keep you warm on cold days unless you put a layer underneath. I like it that way. I won't get too hot because it's too heavy a fabric. It's stretchy which gives it fit versatility. It feels like a smooth silky rayon, but it's acrylic. So, it's not a typical sweatshirt made of cotton. I like the color versatility. The fabric. The stretch. It has cuffs at sleeves and bottom of shirt (in the zipper form) I ordered a light blue because I think I will be wearing this alot through fall and winter. The top has these drawstrings which are decorative, making it look like there might be a hoodie, but there is not. Be sure to tie knobby ends on each side of the tie so it won't get pull into the lining. I haven't spilled anything on it yet, like coffee. I fear it might absorb stains but no way to know until trying it out. I think it will wash and dry well in standard way. I bought the XL size. I am 5'6" tall and 170 lbs. I wear legging type pants and the bottom reaches to my hips. I'm not busty so it can fall lower that way. Remember it's not heavy so if you want something to keep you warm while walking your dog on a 40 degree morning you will need a Tshirt underneath, a scarf, light jacket. But when you get home, it becomes a stylish top you could wear to lunch, shop in a bookstore, etc. Hope this helped. I really like the product. Peace.

I am over 50 and menopausal, so a thick sweatshirt is a no no for me. This pullover has a silky feeling inside lining and it feels incredibly comfy and even cooling effect. So many colors to choose from. I have ordered several already. It does run a little big, Im normally a Medium but wanted an oversized look so I ordered the Large. The large looked terrible, sloppy and shapeless. I ended up with the Medium and I am so pleased.

For reference, I'm 5'5", 215-220 pounds and wear a 38D bra. I would describe my figure as pear shaped with a long torso. I have a 28" inseam. I carry the majority of my weight in the lower abdomen to upper thigh region. My true size is L/XL depending on brand and material.This sweatshirt looks adorable on the model and Prettygarden is one of my go to brands on Amazon. The color is as pictured. I liked the feel of the shirt and it had a nice satin feel on the inside. I ordered an XL and while it fit, it didn't look flattering on me. The sweater looked unnatural zipped up, but when unzipped, it didn't lay right around my neck. It almost had a cowl neck look but with a zipper. I did give it four stars because it seems like a well made article of clothing. It just didn't work with my body type/proportions. The package arrived timely and shipped as expected.

I am pregnant and got these sweatshirts to wear because other reviews mentioned maternity and breastfeeding. Its light weight so not super hot which has been great and very comfortable. I sized up from what i would normally wear and was happy. (Getting a little snug towars the end but still fits ok. The weight I selected for the review is my pregnancy weight). I like the style and will continue to wear them and probably even get another color. I got two colors. One is all cotton (orange) and the other is a cotton/polyester blend (pink). The cotton blend one has washed way better then the all cotton one. The all cotton one pilled after the second wash. So as far as quality it depends on which fabric you get.

The only negative thing that I can even come up with is that the drawstring in the hood slides freely. At times the drawstring is much longer on one side of the pullover than the other so I adjust it more frequently than most hooded shirts. However, I love the fit and weight of the pullover. It ran true to size, it shipped and delivered as anticipated and I had several compliments when I wore it. I even sent the link to someone who was interested in purchasing too. I ordered the pullover for University of Missouri homecoming weekend and the color was perfect! MIZ!

I was pleasantly surprised when I got this. It was a little nicer than the picture presented. This can VERY easily be dressed up with a skirt/dress pants for work, or jeans/leggings for the weekends. I love the 3/4 zipper and how I can make it a cowl neck sweatshirt on those extra chilly nights at the soccer fields! Very flattering shape, runs true to size with lots of stretch for a very comfortable fit! Washes well and holds its shape well when wearing all day. I line dry most of my clothes so I can't attest to how it holds up in the dryer. I would love to buy more in different colors!

Love this pullover. It's so soft. A little shiny but that's ok. It fits perfect and it's just long enough to wear with leggings but not too long with jeans. I'm going to order another in a different color...perhaps two more!

Get fit, comfy, love it! I may get more in other colors.
