These pills are pretty big, but cut into very easily and dissolve fast.

It is a slow and gentle way to correct hyponatremia(low sodium levels) in the elderly. Low sodium is a serious health problem and can even lead to fatality. Its very very expensive. So, this loses a star or two. I know lot people can't afford it. Another downside is, its a large tablet some older filks may have difficulty swallowing

It brought a low sodium level up to normal. And instead of swallowing the tablets, I grind them up and put it in applesauce or chocolate pudding. I make it up ahead of time, enough for 4 days.

The vile tasting Urea powder which I had been taking for six months, is now history!! That daily chore was like a recurring nightmare. What a difference the Urea tablets have made, just like taking any other medication! I feel elated. Worth the extra dollar.

To big had to return them

My husband HATED the powder, so I though this would be a good alternative, as did his doctor. Be warned however, the typical dose for urea powder is 15g and that translated to 8 BIG pills and he had to take it 2x a day, so 16 pills total. A good alternative if you can't tolerate the powder, but not so if you are multiple BIG pills averse.

This helps my 83 yr old mom! I gave it only 4 stars because it is very expensive.
