So I unfortunately suffer from anxiety, so it’s nice to try things, anything, that will help. It came very nicely packaged and delivered. It’s very nice looking too. It came with a cleaning cloth, instructions, a felt bag, and it was all enclosed in a box. Of course, it comes with a very nice looking chain, so it actually can just be a piece of jewelry if you wish, but I think the idea is that it’s there for when you do need it, but doesn’t look awkward or ostentatious in the meantime. Personally, I didn’t necessarily feel relaxed after using it. However, I know breathing exercises help a lot for other people, so I’m thinking it could just be that it was just not the best tool for me. Although, the concept of finding a very simple way to control anxiety is quite comforting. It’s like it’s teaching you, and just using what you already have (breathing of course), to help you. I think you should definitely give it a try if you have anxiety. Breathing exercises are very helpful for a lot of people, and this tool reminds you and teaches you to do so. So even though it didn’t work 100% for me, I think it could be helpful to many others.

I purchased this for my 14-year-old daughter who has been having severe anxiety and panic attacks ever since my husband and her father passed a year ago. She has become quite dependent on this but after only a month of use the chain has already broken. I am going to replace it because she has had several panic attacks since this has broke. So the item itself works wonderful but the chain quality is terrible.

I must say, as someone who frequently experiences anxiety and occasional panic attacks, I was skeptical about the necklace's ability to stop my symptoms, but from the moment I started using it, I was pleasantly surprised by its effectiveness.I found the rhythm of inhaling and exhaling along with a nice mantra to be incredibly calming, it's almost like having a personal meditation guide right at my fingertips.I have used this in several situations where I had anxiety, as soon as everything starts to tunnel out and my heart starts pounding I start the rhythmic breathing, Its very compact so it allows you to use it discreetly in public, it has allowed me to regain control of my emotions and find my calm center.The impact that the Breathing Necklace has had on my overall well-being cannot be overstated. It has become an essential tool for my anxiety.

It's a bit extra, would make a nice gift though. You don't need a necklace for mindful breathing. I think it would be good for newbies though, like a reminder.

I got this for my daughter who has anxiety from time to time. I wasn’t sure how much this necklace will make her feel better but it seems to be working. I think if a person believes it’s working that’s all it takes.

I got this for my son. He suffers from anxiety. This does seem to help when I can get him to use it. I liked the idea of the necklace chain so it can go everywhere you do.

This necklace is such a nice idea. I thought there might be some kind of breathing mechanism inside the tube, but there is not, it is simply a metal tube. However the act of taking it in your hand/placing it on your lips and inhaling slowly as directed, then exhaling for 8-10, all of this comprises a beautiful little ritual you can have with yourself when you need a moment of mental and physical peace. I really like it. It is not only functional, but it's very cute as well!A few points of critique: The clasp on the chain is not the highest quality and is a bit difficult to open and close. Also the length of the chain is good for me, but for perhaps larger necks it may not be long enough to be able to raise it up to the lips; because of this I would suggest a better quality, longer chain.
