I bought these Yammy Dried Sweet Potato Sticks for a long fieldwork trip, and they were an absolute win. If you’re expecting a crispy snack, read the description and reviews. These are soft and naturally sweet, not crunchy. And honestly? That’s what makes them so good. Out in the field, I need snacks that are portable, quick, and clean, something I can grab without worrying about preservatives or weird ingredients. These check every box. They’re soft enough to eat while moving, they don’t crumble everywhere, and the natural sweetness gave me a great boost of energy when I needed it most. It’s literally one ingredient: sweet potato. Simple, clean, and so much healthier than the usual “energy” snacks (looking at you, trail mix). One funny surprise: everyone I was working with wanted a taste and I did not enjoy sharing them! That’s how you know they’re good. They're a bit on the pricey side, so I won’t be stockpiling them in huge quantities, but they’ve definitely earned a permanent spot in my field snack rotation. If you like naturally sweet, soft snacks, these are fantastic. If you prefer crunchy, this won’t be your thing.

A quick story of how I discovered these wonderfully, delicious treats. I was at an event and a friend of mine offered me a taste of sweet potato sticks, I tried them and they were pretty tasty, she gave me the individual bag and I ate the rest of them that evening and liked them more. The brand she had was different; I went to Amazon to search for others brands and the Yammy packaging was definitely more appealing to me; the color of the sweet potatoes were more real life looking and the price was right. When I received them and starting eating them, I couldn't stop! When you open the bag, the odor smells exactly like a baked sweet potato. They're naturally sweet, moist and nicely balanced chewiness. I shared with my co-workers and they too loved them too, 1 of them ate the entire bag as we were discussing how yummy the Yammys are, she then asked where I bought them. These definitely are my new favorite snack and will be great to pack when traveling; my palate and wallet thank you both, Dennis & Stephanie for a truly exciting & great snack.

Honestly, I didn’t think these were going to taste good, but they’re amazing. The sweet potato flavor is my favorite. I expected it to be more chip like, but it actually has a slightly gummy, sticky texture and it’s absolutely delicious. These are perfect for snacking, especially if you’re craving something sweet and savory. They’re also very filling, and the portion size does a great job of satisfying your hunger, even if you tend to snack a lot. I highly recommend these if you’re looking for a healthy, fiber rich snack, especially if you’re busy whether you’re working or on a college campus!

I am not a fan of yams or sweet potatoes warmed bc it just taste unappealing. I expect a potato. LOL However, yams are healthy and good for you so I thought I would try bc as Chewy food, I'm ok w sweet. (Weird I know). Thinking it's more like a fruit. I was happy to find I like them! It's a chewy texture, sweet but doesn't scream yams at me. :) Will I rotate them into my work lunch. Yes. I think the pouch is a good value for me bc I will not empty it out as it is not a donut. And a few tide me over as a snack. Pouch is a good size for me. Am I a yam convert. No, but I still find these tasty so it's a baby step

I was at work and a friend met me try her Yammy snack! It was so good I made her send me the link. I just got a whole bunch of them. It’s the perfect healthy snack AND ITS ON THE GO!! So I can have a quick snack while I rush to work or just get caught up in my busy day. It’s great even for a lazy day too :) this will definitely be an item I keep on my grocery list!

The Yammy baked sweet potato snacks are absolutely amazing! I’ve tried 3 other brands and they don’t compare to the Yammies—they’re sweet, moist and chewy—very satisfying! Everyone loves them, including my one-year-old grandson. I ordered them through my Walmart app and they arrive in one or two days. The price is very reasonable too. If you like all kinds of sweet potatoes, you will probably like this snack! Personally, I LOVE Asian sweet potatoes but I don’t like western ones. These sweet potato sticks are made with Asian sweet potatoes and I’ve really enjoyed similar snacks while traveling in South Korea and Japan so I had high expectations! Unfortunately, this snack does not taste like the ones I’ve bought abroad. Also, while some stickiness was expected, these were too sticky, in my opinion. That’s really not a big deal if you like the taste though! Anyways, if your tastebuds are anything like mine, I recommend sticking with foreign brands. But if you’re a lover of all things sweet potato definitely give these a shot!

To this Caucasian, these are unusual, but yummy! I’m always looking for tasty, high protein snacks that are portable. It looks like a lot of thought and love went into creating this healthy snack. Well done, friends!
