Very expensive but also very nice
Just absolutely gorgeous. The cover is so flexible which I love and the silver gilding on the edges very nice touch indeed. The paper is nice and somewhat heavy however it’s not Mnemosyne silky smooth there is, however slight, a little grainy feel to it much like leuchhturm1917 just a little less thick. All in all it’s very aesthetically pleasing no doubt but I wish it contained paper equivalent in weight and texture to Moleskine, leuchtturm or Mnemosyne. I’m no authority on paper but I know what I like and the Montblanc paper really doesn’t do it for me. I would liken it to dating a very handsome man with no intelligence- I want to look at him all day long I just don’t want him to open his mouth. In short I want to date this notebook not marry it. If I could find a notebook that looked like this one but was filled with Mnemosyne paper I’d marry it in a heartbeat...without a prenup 😘
