Super long, almost 8 FEET when extended
When this light gray duster is fully extended, please look at my pictures, you can see it's almost 8 feet long - longer then the avagere standard United States of America doorway. The duster head, if measuring just the duster portion is about 15 inches. The handle/stick, with the duster attached completely compressed is just about over 29 inches. the handle itself, has an opening at the end, to make hanging this up during no-usage easy. The duster itself, feels "silky" smooth and I haven't noticed any shedding of the actual duster fibers/material-which I am guessing is some synthetic material blend. I was very pleasantly surprised at how compact the duster is yet how much it can expand to - again over 8 feet. The reasons I am giving this four stars instead of five - is 1) the duster head is definately not machine washable and I don't know how it will hand wash, as the duster "spine" is a braided metal. and 2) the duster head cannot be bent/direction changed - only straight is the option.

really long
The top with the duster screws into the handle. Fully collapsed this duster measures about 31" and fully extended about 7 feet. I'll finally be able to dust the chandelier in the vaulted hallway ceiling. Seems to work fine but states that its a microfiber feather duster while the duster does seem to be a fabric of some type I don't think its your usual microfiber and certainly not feathers. The duster attachment is a plastic screw-in while the pole is metal. Hopefully, the duster will wash as stated since I don't think you would be able to find a replacement part.

Easy to Use
I like this duster kit. It's a good fabric and the extendable handle is very nice as well. It's easy to use and clean, which are also pros. It's a good size too!

Is not as expected !
The microfiber does not slip on and off very easily! Didn’t come with 2 microfiber pads like the description said only 1!!

Great duster, could add a smaller lighter handle
I had no product picture available when I obtained this duster. I envisioned something that would resemble another well known duster, but this micro fiber duster is nothing like a disposable duster. I hated it when I first tried it. The first problem I had was that the duster is so “feathery”, the surface I was dusting would contact the little rod that supports the micro fibers. I hated that, and was ready to issue a big negative review. My problem was that I did not know how micro fibers function. A little research was in order. WARNING SCIENCE STUFF, if you know this you can skip it. If you do not know how micro fiber dusters work, it might behoove you to read this before you buy. I have no manufacturers’ information, so maybe it is covered in their literature. The micro fiber works on the magnetic principle of opposites attract. Static electricity. The micro fibers carry a small electrical charge, supposedly (-). Dust has a tendency to have the opposite charge (+). If a filament of micro fiber is brought in contact or close proximity to dust, the static attraction draws the dust to the fiber, and the dust is removed from the surface. Just like a magnet. This in turn causes a slight decrease in the (-) charge of the micro fiber as it holds the dust particle. This means that the duster is not operated in the manner of the traditional disposable duster. The micro fiber duster is not meant to rub the dust off the surface as I was doing when I hit the center support against the furniture. The duster should be moved across the surface with a very light touch. Almost not touching the surface. The duster will attract and remove the dust from the surface. This means that the duster will eventually “fill up” as the electrical charges on the duster are cancelled by the attached dust. Consequently, the duster should be cleaned frequently. The duster is washable, it has to be in order to clean it. The duster should be cleaned by immersing the duster in warm, sightly soapy water. Most authorities suggest dish soap. Do not just use running water, but slosh it around in sitting water. This helps break the electrical bond between the dust and the micro fiber, and the dust will separate, leaving a clean duster. Rinse in running or standing water, dry it out, and the duster is good to go. There has to be a limit on just how dirty the surface can be. How heavy a particle of dirt can the static charge of the duster pick up? I consider this duster to be a “keep the house clean” as opposed to “clean the house” appliance. If there is actual dirt on the surface, I would assume that the micro fiber charge will not pick it up. The duster has a handle that resembles a golf club shaft, and appears to be built almost as strong. The shaft is very heavy, and can extend to about 4 feet. If the duster part is of equivalent quality to the handle, it should last a long time. I found it convenient to detach the handle when dusting easily reached surfaces, and just hold the duster part. It is lighter and easier to maneuver that way. Maybe the addition of a second, small, quality, plastic handle for light work would be appropriate. I have gone from hating this duster to liking it very much in two short days. Without the necessity to replace disposable pads, this duster should be economical. A very big and easy 5 rating for this duster for quality of build, and value for money.

Reach webs in high corners
I really like that this duster has a super long wand. I have high ceilings and dusting has always been a struggle for me. It’s easily becomes longer and the tassels are good at getting the webs and having them stick. You will have to removed the webs yourself as mine stuck very well. The only thing I wish it did was bend easier for, say the top of a book self. Overall good duster. Happy with item.

adjustable for various needs and easy storage
I ordered because it has a bendable head, and the pole is telescoping instead of being extended by adding poles.
