Amazing monitor, best bang for buck for 1080p 144hz monitors
This is an incredible monitor, let me just start there. If you are like me and had tons of trouble trying to find a reliable and quality mid grade 144hz gaming monitor, this is the monitor for you! I looked into the ASUS models like the VG248QE but the 24 inch monitor had screen flicker which is incredibly outdated and the newer 27 inch was too big for my needs and 1080 at 27 inches is a bit grainy. The Acer GN246HL had iffy reviews because of quality control. This left me choosing between this viewsonic XG2402, AOC G2460PF , and the more expensive Acer Predator XB241H with G sync. There were many others as well that only had a handful of reviews which scared me away, so i am hoping to leave this review to add to its reputation of being a great monitor. The acer had not great reviews for quality control. And the AOC had horrible color quality. The XG2402 seemed like the perfect mid grade solution. Not too expensive but not real cheap cutting corners either. This monitor runs absolutely amazing at 144hz, has a bunch of great settings, and with some minor calibration is still a great looking monitor despite being a TN panel. Keep in mind this is still a TN panel, so viewing angles are limited and the colors will not be as brilliant as an IPS. But at $250 you are getting great bang for your buck. The screen is highly adjustable and has HDMI and Displayport, i suggest displayport.I have only had it a few days now, but i am blown away by the jump from 60hz to 144hz, i have gone up an entire league in Rocket League because it makes you play that much better. As long as it holds up and doesn't break, this is a top option IMO for a monitor in this price range. If you want to spend another $100 or so, you can get G sync and/or 1440p.

Satisfied enough, wish they added more OSM settings though
This screen is pretty solid, there’s no dead pixels or any crazy stuff similar to that like the other reviews talk about. Definitely pulls 120 FPS on the ps5 and it works beautifully through the 2.0 HDMI port. I don’t notice the ghosting and it doesn’t bother me, with the right settings there shouldn’t be much. The colors are great on this screen, they really pop out, again, with the right settings, straight out the box yeah they may be harsh to look at but you can search some up on Google or play around with them yourself but it’s definitely a must do to change them after unboxing it. I used this for gaming and I got to say it’s pretty damn fast, I have another monitor which is 60fps 4k (Asus VG289Q) next to this one and whenever I’m playing the same game with someone and we’re watching the same rainbow six siege replay or something that both of us can see, I can definitely see things on the 120 FPS monitor like a split second first. The viewing angles are pretty horrible on this thing but it’s not really an actual problem when you’re sitting in front of it, unless you want to watch a movie in your room from an awkward angle then you should be good. The screen is pretty bright, too bright I actually have to turn it down to like 33 brightness for it to be viewable for a long sessions of gaming. There’s really no downsides to this screen in terms of performance, for quality view personally I really do not care about the viewing angles and I don’t even notice the 4k that much half the time, like you really have to look closely to notice the detail which you would miss half the time when playing competitively, also depends on the game but if possible I would rather sacrifice 4k for 120 FPS 100% even for single player games. One thing I wish they had on this monitor is the red reticle dot that I could set up in the on screen menu on my 4k monitor, it really helped with certain games but I could live without it. Overall you really can’t beat the price for what you’re getting here, this has to be one of the fastest 120 FPS monitor with great color. Spent hours for days doing research on what monitor to get and finally landed on this one, so if you’re in the same rabbit hole I’d recommend you just save your time and get this, you won’t regret it. 10/10 for PS5

Same as Before
I bought this monitor with some concern that it wouldn't graphically color-wise come up to my 2012 Viewsonic purchase standards on the previous monitor. It's ever bit as good, if not better. The real waste of time for me, was thinking the DP or the other cable they provided would do me any good, because they didn't. My Geforce 1060 wouldn't accommodate either, unless I got an adapter or another cable, but I really wanted to know if this thing would work, whether what I may have on hand might work on 144hz settings or not.All I had on hand that worked, was my old HDMI cable from a monitor bought in 2012. The cables have no indicator whatsoever what version they are (unlike USB's) but fortunately not only would the old cable work, I presume it to be v1.4 HDMI, 1.4 will accommodate 144hz so I had to get outside cables to help out. A pity to pay for extra cables that don't help you at all. And it's not like the 1060 card is that terribly old, especially since they were build about the same time this monitor was. I can only guess, that my just having bought this monitor, perhaps they put the latest of the cables in there for later builds, and that those cables physically changed in three years on newer cards so they put more up-to-date cables in there (this monitor was built 9/7/20).I cannot give a review on the great increase in game play, since I'm not big into very fast paced games. The one game I am currently playing (XCOM 2), and this may go down more to my changing the contrast somewhat, but I definitely do have a sharper picture. I have gone through a number of the menus through ordinary gameplay, and they're very sharp without any delays, while using the settings from the previous monitor setup, which if I'm not mistaken were already on full graphics. The only things that could use improving in my early view, is that I miss not having the parrot logo on the bezel somewhere, plus I hate having wasted all that time on cables that wouldn't even work, since I connect to the monitor first, and then have to go spelunking on the floor to get behind my tower amidst all the wires and trying to make sense of it all. I've never had any problem with cables provided with monitors that I can recall, so I didn't think to check the card's end with the connectors I had first.I do have the happy blessing of thus far being dead pixel free. So she looks pretty much like a winner. My previous monitor BTW, was one that lasted over eight years, and if I hadn't been stupid enough to clean it improperly recently, I wouldn't be doing this review. Viewsonics are winners no doubt, as this is at least the fourth one I've bought over the decades, and I've never regretted it for a second.

He terminado enamorándome de él.

Great for Gaming - Impressive Build Quality
I bought this when it was on sale for just over $300 CAD to get a 144hz monitor for e-sports titles. It performed really well in that regard, and I was honestly blown away by the picture quality. However, I most suprised by the extremely high quality build quality. The mount, stand, and casing are all really sturdy and made from good materials. The display buttons at the bottom of the screen also feel really great when pressed. Another nice touch is the on screen display clearly tells you what each button will do on the menu you are on, so no fumbling with menus. If you find this on sale for $300 or equivalent, get it. For the price its a fantastic value. Amazon displays the regular price as just under $3000, for that price I can't recommend it.

Great Monitor
After years of faithful service my old 50Hz LG monitor gave up the ghost and it was time to start hunting for a new one. After hours of research I decided on this. It has some great reviews from various sights and was the right size considering my rather limited space. It was a breeze to set up (except for the cable management loop around the back which required considerable force to snap into place, I was convinced that I was going to break it). You can adjust the screen in both directions and in height which is handy. After switching it on it became obvious that the settings needed recalibrating but a quick search on Google set me up pretty quick. A lack of remote control combined with awkward bezels under the screen made his a little more irritating than necessary but wasn't a major issue in fact it most likely down to me being lazy more than anything. The red light at the back is relatively unobtrusive and after a while I didn't really notice it. Overall for the price this is well worth it, specs similar to a lot of the higher end models for a bit less, easy to use, sturdy stand that's easy to assemble and mount the monitor on and after adjusting the screen settings it became a great value piece of kit. Thoroughly recommend!!
