Monstrum Picatinny Side Saddle Ammo Holder

I purchased this for my Marlin 1895 SBL. While it does fit on the rifle, the 45-70 cartridges would be extremely tight, so tight in fact it would almost be impossible to remove one. I reamed the holders out with a large drill bit and cut the plastic in between each loop as to allow a little more flexibility in the plastic. Now the cartridges fit great. I did try 243 and 30-30, which fit fine before I modified it, but if you want this for a larger cartridge, be prepared to modify it. Otherwise, this shell carrier seems to be of great quality.

Fits perfect. Makes your gun look better and obviously it holds more ammo Ofcourse for being practical.

I like that it is well made and made entirely of metal. It is also about the easiest side saddle shell holder to mount on your gun that you'll find out there, as long as you have a rail running along the top of the receiver on your shotgun. If you do have a shotgun like that, I highly recommend this product because of the ease of which one can make a reload so conveniently available. It's a snap to mount on your shotgun. It holds the shells a little looser than I'd like, but they haven't fallen out, even when turning the gun over and shaking it. I'd definitely recommend it for your tactical/ home defense shotgun. Always a good feeling to know you have spare ammo close at hand since one of the downsides of most shotguns is that they don't hold a lot of ammo.

This product took my rifle to the next level. It’s solid and holds .308 rounds very snug. Just add it to the cart an hit buy, you will not regret it! Will be buying more

A little loose on 2 of the holders, stays attached very well

Locks up tight on the rail, holds rounds securely yet it’s easy to get them out and looks way better than Velcro crap that never stays stuck and leaves residue on everything it touches. Made out of metal not plastic… a huge plus! And it is lightweight to the point that even with 8- 220 grain 300 blk you can’t tell the difference even a little!
