This is a great adult snorklling set, with mask, snorkel and flippers. There is no information contained on the packaging or inside the product to indicate anything about how it is made or how to use it, which is unusual, but unless you have never used a set before, then it is as you would expect.The only thing that you might miss on first glance, is that you need to pull out the inserts in the flippers. There is an instruction on the black plastic inserts, moulded in, but it might be easy to overlook without any other instruction. The flippers are an excellent fit. I have size 7.5 feet and I can get a really good fit with these flippers, indeed there is some more room, so if you have slightly larger feet, these should be fine, but equally for those with smaller feet, the straps are adjustable and feel really secure on.The mask also gives a good fit and so far I haven't had any leaks of water into the mask. I like the fact that they have safety glass rather than plastic, which can get cloudy over time. Hopefully the lenses will stay clear for years to come.The snorkel is a kinked design, which has been designed to go around your head, rather than the old fashioned straight ones, which makes it more natural to ensure that the end stays up above the waterline.The set comes in a rectangular bag with a strap to carry it, which is practical, if not beautiful. It has a mesh pocket inside, so that you can slip your mask into it so that it is easy to retrieve and cleverly there is a mesh at the bottom of the bag to allow the water to drain out when you have packed the wet things into it - so that you don't carry half of the sea/pool home with you and it can drain away quickly!

This is a review of the Ultrasport Adult Snorkel Set 2 in 1 Black black / blue Size:38-42, a really nice snorkelling set for a competitive price. The items are supplied with a zip up bag for storage but no instructions or safety advice.The flippers are for UK size 5-8 so I was a fit worried they would be too small for my size 9s but I prefer them tight so I thought I would risk it and they fitted fine as long as you remove the plastic insert that holds the shape which was not that obvious without instructions! They are good quality and easy to slip on and off, while feeling secure on your feet.The mask is good quality silicon, a little narrow but comfortable when on with clear lenses and closed under the nose for use with the snorkel. It is easy to adjust and the straps are wide with the snorkel clipping easily to them. The snorkel is plastic and well made with a silicon mouthpiece and smooth mouldings.This set is ideal for holiday use and much better than some of the budget offerings you see on sale at the resorts. As it is aimed at beginners I would have liked to see instructions and safety advice included though.**Edit** I have knocked off a star (3 now) as there seems to be a problem with the lugs for the flippers. After mild use one broke and the other was half ripped on one flipper. They are moulded into the rubber of the flipper so I could not see an obvious way of repairing them. I may have been unlucky and the snorkel and mask performed well but handle with care and do not over-tighten.

A very good 'beginners' set to get you going with snorkeling. The quality is high and the fit, for me personally anyway, is excellent. You can usually judge the quality and level of design of this sort of set by the comfort of fit and water-tightness of the mask and this one is great. Flippers easy to wear and fit well too. All comes in a waterproof carry bag with strap that also has draining mesh in the bottom. Nice. All round great bit of holiday snorkeling kit.

The lug on the buckle of one of the fins broke the first time it was being put to use. Without being able to use the buckle/clamp the fins were unusable. The mask & snorkel were fine.

I had an Ultrasport set last year and to be honest I wasn't impressed. This one however is a vast improvement.The mask is comfortable with a newly designed strap to hold the face piece firm while spreading the pressure on the back of the head.The snorkel is also better, last year's design had a thin plastic valve that allowed water to leech in. This year the valve is much more robust.The big improvement, however, is with the flippers. The straps and fixings holding the fin to foot are much better than previously and stand up to use well. The fins are quite long and I found them better for snorkelling on the surface rather than diving down, but then this is a snorkelling set. The flippers did take a while to get used to, but after 10 minutes or so I discovered it required much less effort to use a swaying hip movement than a leg kick which put quite a bit of pressure on my (bad) hip due to the water resistance which is high reflecting the large surface area of the fin.Overall, this is good set, well made and durable, and at a reasonable price. Well done Ultrasport for improving your product.
