I’m very pleased with these straighteners. I specifically wanted straightness I can use on my very frizzy, fine, processed bio hair , and use on my regular (non heat resistant) synthetic wigs - as I want to loosen the curl pattern. So I needed a straightener with a variable heat setting including very low heat option. This straightener has a digital temperature reading controlled with up and down arrows. Press both arrows to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. The Amazon description and the instructions that come in the box state the temperature range is 80c-200c.... The lowest setting displayed on the digital LED is 120c (and not 80c as described) so I tried the straightners out on a piece of synthetic weft cut from a wig and it was fine ( no frizzing or melting). I then straightened out my own bio hair on the same 120c setting (just my fringe and bangs). My bio hair is very over processed, frizzy and thin, a bit like a dandelion . I’m pleased the lowest setting was able to take out the frizz and leave a smooth, shiny finish. It’s not poker straight but that’s not what I want. My hair doesn’t feel ‘cooked’. I wouldn’t wish to raise the temperature any higher and i haven’t tested further. Due to the current promotion I was able to buy these straighteners for £11.99!
