I wear size 8.5W and even then, my small toes tend to rub. I wear black shoes almost every day and I alternate black flats, a mid-heel and a taller heel. I purchased these to be my "mid-heel" in between shoe. I saw that they came in XW so I was excited and my feeling was correct. I received these in the mail and slipped them on and it's a perfect fit. They are cute but still wide and roomy for my toes. The first thing I noticed when I took them out of the box was how light they are. Super light yet supportive and comfortable, with a rubber sole.My mother has short wide feet like I do - I ordered a pair for her in size 6XW and she really likes them. She has arthritis in her toes and this show accommodates her bunion.I plan to wear these year-round for work and casually with jeans.Update: over a year later and I'm still wearing these and they are still super comfortable. I use a kiwi polish on them to buff out scratches so they always look good. I wear them without tights in warmer weather so they are starting to stink a little so I will replace them soon. Great shoe.

I bought these for the arch support. They are definitely more attractive in the photo than they are in real life. However, I only bought them for the arch support, so the cuteness factor isn't that important to me. I need to be able to wear them all day without limping home. The arch support is good so they will be find for work. These shoes also run wide. That seems to be a theme among shoes with good arch support. I purchased three pairs of shoes for the arch support and all three (different brands) run wide. Not sure why that is, but there you have it. At any rate, they will do what I need them to do so I don't care that much how frumpy they look.

I bought these for my trip to Japan. The foot bed is easy to remove and clean. I was sure once I cleaned it, they would never fit the same. However, It fit back in like a glove without loosing it's shape. I was out all day walking and, when it wasn't raining, riding a bike. At first, I had to wear them only a few hours a day to break them in. The rainy season kind of helped that too. After that, they felt like my sneakers because the arch support was wonderful and they fit so snug! Despite all the beating these shoes took, they still look great. I just polished them up, and good as new! I still wear them now; two years later. I even bought my second pair here because I liked them so much. I wore a pair of crocks and some ballet strap shoes with cushy insoles as well. They didn't survive. They fell apart and the crocks do not fit my feet properly at all. The alter pumps are far from wearing out, but I wanted another pair before they all disappear!

I bought these in black and they are as expected. There isn't anything on the box or the shoes that confirms they are leather, but the Hush Puppies site says they are burnished leather. They are formed and stiff at the toe, but the rest of the leather seems soft enough to be comfortable and conform to foot with wear. The toe is a lifted at the sole (curved sole) and the toe box quite round. Some comments say that these have cushy insoles, and they do have some give, but they don't seem as cushy as some comfort shoes. I will say that one of my shoes is made differently than the other in that seems around the right shoe opening is aligned, but on the left shoe they are not and I worry that the points will rub. Weird weird fit on these. The toe box wasn't ample enough for a 7.5 W, yet the heel was really wide. I couldn't keep the shoe on my foot -- I sent this one back too (I ordered it in a 7 XW and had the same issues). I was really hoping these would work because they are really perfect for what I needed -- I have tendonitis in my Achilles, so I need a shoe that has a comfortable insole but the construction of the leather upper is well-made and sturdy enough that my foot doesn't move around (contrary to how it does in a ballet flat, per se). The wedge was also very comfortable but yeah...that fit. That fit just ruined what would have been shoe bliss for me! I hope they think about reconstructing this one. This would have been a great work shoe, but it's not for the wide-foot girlies.

Bought these shoes for a bit of a heel with a "flat." They are still low to the ground, but give me an extra inch or so of height. They were comfortable right out of the box and haven't changed a bit in a few month's wearing. They look cute and stay on my feet. I found them to be true to size (I wear a 7.5 and bought a 7.5.) I never wear socks or tights, so the shoe is right next to my foot - soft and cushy all the way around. I also work on my feet - these are perfect for running around or standing still. The leather still looks great, too.
