Wimports Large Bamboo Wooden Chopping Board with 5 Flexible Plastic Colour Coded Mats Set

Had to send it back as it had a broken foot. On close inspection I could not re-attach the foot as the base was damaged. The bamboo was split and the thread on the foot was too short, basically a low quality finish. I did not want to risk a replacement so close to Xmas and looking at the workmanship I wasn’t sure there wouldn’t be a worse problem next time. Disappointed.

Ordered and received quicker than expected. Very practical for the kitchen, the five chopping boards are great, and as advertised they are flexible and easy to use. That said, I think the boards are wee bit too flexible, but easily cleaned after use. As an amateur cook in the making the boards are easy to pull out of the base of the chopping board, with the motifs for fish, meat etc easy to see. The wooden Chopping board is ideal for food prep and cleaned afterwards. I had been looking for something like this for weeks and high street shops had smaller items with 3 or 4 for chopping boards for much more money. Fact this has 5 boards and they are replaceable is a great bonus. Well worth the money and thoroughly recommended.

I really like this chopping board for the fact that it is a good size, and with the 5 swappable covers, you basically get 5 chopping boards for the footprint of one, very useful for when you are having to chop and slice large amounts for a meal. Because you can bend the covers, it is easy to accurately get everything you have chopped into a small pan. I don't really pay attention to the different colours, I just bear in mind what I've used for raw meat/etc during the prep of a meal and wash all the used covers after use.My only niggle is that I wish it was made of something like oak rather than bamboo, bamboo is rather firm and tough and I find it a bit more effort (and noisier) to chop on.

Delighted with my purchase - ingenious that the plastic chopping boards are stashed away inside the wooden board. Perfect for use by all the family as easy to use the appropriate board for the job in hand - my 2 lads both cook and I am paranoid about raw chicken and keeping it away from all other food - this just makes it foolproof for them - would recommend.

I was initially afraid that my super sharp professional knives would destroy these coloured inserts, but I am happy to say this has not been the case. Easy to clean and sheets are flexible yet stiff enough to transfer choppied veggies/meat from chopping board to pan/pot.

Lovely quality chopping board and the concealed colour coded chopping sheets are a wonderful idea, I have used this constantly since I purchased it and to date there are no cuts or scars on the chopping surfaces, easily cleaned & slide back into the storage slot leaving a nice clean looking board on display

The actual wooden chopping board is of excellent quality. The various plastic covers slide conveniently inside for storage. The covers are fairly durable although can get damaged but overall, I'm very happy with this. It would make a nice gift I think.

A fine, sturdy product within which the plastic chopping mats are stored. The mats are fine - colourful, flexible (easier to tip contents into pan), etc. The mats do take a bashing over time but it's not difficult to find replacements if need be.
