When the product isn’t damaged, it looks very nice. I ordered 4 shades and had to return 3 times due to damage on arrival. As you can see in the pic some of the shades have a wrinkles in the fabric. For the price it’s good, without the wrinkles it actually looks pretty high quality. Might try ironing to get the wrinkles out. Installation also super easy with power drill

This blackout shade was really nicely made I like the material it looks good. This is the first time I have ever installed one of these these types of shades. The installation was so easy I couldn't believe it I've never seen this configuration before I took 5 minutes to install.

A better design would have allowed the shade to rest against both window and against outside frame as well. I went on the outside 3 inches past window edge on both sides thinking it would help keep out more light because of migraines. But, because of the way it is designed, the shade sticks out much more, allowing in more light than I had expected. And the video showed the color more golden. Seems like everything is being altered to appear more attractive than it truly is. But, it did say beige so I am keeping it. The installation isn't easy as some would have you think or as it looks on video or paper. But, as long as you do all the prep work with all the tools at hand, instructions are followed and it is aligned correctly with your preferred leveling tool/app, it is smoother than most. I had no problems and I'm a 72 year young woman on a ladder without help. I do wish it had come with a valance to cover the mechanism, but I can't take off for that since it wasn't offered. If you need total blackout without need to open a shade to see outside, go with a cling of some type or go real cheap and cover with a black cloth.

Almost every roller shade is complete blackout, which I didn’t want at all. These shades still let in the perfect amount of natural light while keeping the room cool. The quality is surprisingly nice for the price. The install was fairly easy, took about 20 min to install both.

I goofed when cutting this item so it took me longer to install. The last two went in easily and they are just the right amount of shade for the bedrooms and living room. I plan on order more for summer.
