Best Looking Raph Ever
I have had a variety of Raphael figures since the 90's. I was a child in the turtle craze period exploded onto the scene. I had the original cartoon toy line, the superhero Japanese raphael, astronaut, transforming. I was a pretty lucky kid, but nothing compares to this one. This figure looks like it stepped out of the pages of the IDW book. The best part about the BST AXN TMNT IDW line is that each turtle is unique. Most times companies will just slap a different paint job or head on it and give it a new name. Not these ones. The ones could be painted completely white with not belts or weapons and you would be able to tell which turtle is which. Raphael takes first prize out of the four for this line. He is slightly wider or more muscular than the others. His belt holding the removable ninja stars and weapons look great and his pose ability to hold the weapons in different directions or stances are awesome. If you were only gonna buy one Raphael figure i would highly recommend this one.

Amazing, but also hit or miss
EDIT: I have finally received all four. I am very happy with my purchase: Leonardo and Raphael are amazing. At this price point the sculpt and the articulation are unbeatable. Donatello and Michelangelo on the other hand both suffer from the same bad left shoulder and bad left elbow design. Their arms cannot be raised as the top of the shoulder rubs against the socket. The left elbow is quite flimsy too on both. Nothing wrong with their right arms though. Apart from that, Mikey is really cool.ORIGINAL REVIEW: The sculpting on these is phenomenal. They come with a nice set of accessories. Posability is very nice, although Leonardo doesn't necessarily stand too firmly in every pose. I ordered all four of them. So far I have received three. I'll (try to) update it later once I receive Michelangelo too. In short: amazing sculpt, good posability, nice paint job, nice accesories, hit or miss quality, fragile biceps swivel on Donatello.Longer version: - Since we are talking about $20ish figures, the QC is a bit hit or miss. My Raphael is absolutely stellar. The joints are amazing: not too stiff, not too loose, just perfect - every one of them. Only issue is that his plastron (front shell) is misaligned, but I'm fine with that. Also, he cannot hold his tonfas firmly, they just dangle in his hands. Leonardo is also stellar, however he wasn't so straight out of the box. Shoulders barely moved, but running some hot water over them for half a minute solved it. However, his right foot would not move. I had to pop it off, readjust the peg into neutral position, pop the foot back on, and now it works great. The problem was that the peg was set to the end of the range of motion before the foot was attached upon assembly. No big deal, you can solve it yourself, just be gentle. Leonardo's plastron is also misaligned, but it doesn't bother me. His sword gripping hands don't look right with the thumb being between the other two fingers, instead of being above them as they should. Whatever... Donatello on the other hand is trash. He looks bad. That's my personal opinion. He looks so bad that I wouldn't even keep him even if he didn't have QC issues. Which he does. His shoulders are stuck. No hot water or hairdryer could solve it. This is exacerbated by the cheap biceps swivel design. It is the same awful biceps swivel that Loyal Subjects put on their cartoon turtles too. I also sent back a cartoon Raphael because of that. There's a big gap and it looks so flimsy that every time I move the arms up or down I expect it to break. The biceps should form a sleeve for the shoulder, but instead this is a cheap biceps swivel design. It's gross and seems fragile, especially when combined with super stiff shoulder, like it is with this Donatello and my past cartoon Raphael.

Best from this Company so far
I hadn't bothered to collect BST AXN TMNT figures, until these arrived to the market. At the price point, these are fantastic. I love how they attempted to sculpt these as close to Santalouco's art style as possible. If you've read the IDW comic line, you'll love these figures. I will say that these are for display only. They do not hold up as a child's toy line. They're too fragile. Box art looks amazing as well.

Opened Box
There was supposed to be a collector card in the box. When I received the order, this one and another were missing the top plastic cover that kept the parts in place and the collector card. It was definitely opened before. I was expecting factory sealed product.

Great Leonardo figure.
Despite my Leonardo Box being torn open, the figure and other pieces are in good condition and I planned to open it anyway so no harm is done. If you're a fan of the best TMNT the IDW TMNT this is a must buy. They definitely chose the right artist for this too. Not a figure expert but been a life long fan of TMNT.
