Great value ! Works on high pile carpet too!
This works so well!! It works on high pile carpet too. I was holding off on getting it because of other reviews but don’t listen to them. I have a flokati rug I use it on and it doesn’t get stuck on it. It works fine. It works on regular carpet too and has a switch to go to flat surfaces as well. Great value for the money. Make sure you’re getting the right size though. I was concerned because it reads wrong on the measurements for 1 and 1/4 diameter. I needed it for my shark shop vac and it fit perfectly! No noise ! Holds on well.

Nice
Very nice attachment. I bought a different brand a few months ago but it burned out the bushings for the agitator. This one here seems to have bearings or brass bushings bc it's smooth and works well. Very satisfied.

Perfect for my Hart Shop Vac
We have pets and kids so normal household vacuums do not last long around here. A few years ago I switched to a shop vac but I hated the "vacuum head" attachment it came with so I searched for an actual vacuum head with a rotating brush that was compatible with my shop vac. I order this vacuum head about once a year (as long as kids or dogs don't hide it or break it) because it is far cheaper than a new vacuum every year and it works great in picking up the crumbs, dust, and hair that happens with an active family and pets living in the desert.

Defective
This item doesn’t even work as it should. It’s not picking up the dust but only drags it along. Very annoying and disappointing. Please do not purchase.

It does not have the power to work on rug with raised fiber/nap.
Works well on solid floors.

Works with my shop vac for carpets, stairs, and hardwood floors!!!
Disclaimer: I had to MacGyver it with some electrical tape to make it fit on the shop vac hose- BUT I bought it knowing the attachment was a little small for the hose.I LOVE THIS VACUUM ATTACHMENT❤️So, I have hardwoods w/large rugs downstairs and wanted something that was multi purpose- I bought a Dewalt shop vac for downstairs (I keep my Shark vacuum upstairs where we have all carpet floors). I wanted an attachment that could do rugs & hardwood without a hassle of transitioning attachment heads etc. I bought 1 that didn't work- it just sectioned to the floor and didn't roll back and forth. This was my 2nd pick and it should have been the 1st pick! My shop vac has enough suction power to get the "turbine" thing to spin and glide over floors and glide over carpet. It is really lightweight. It went over carpet smoothly and pulled up a lot of debris! Some of these self-propelled attachments stop spinning as soon as they meet resistance (i.e. carpet, upholstery etc) but this one kept spinning the "beater bar". I felt it worked similar to a regular vacuum head without the electrical power needed to run it. Woohoo!

Has its uses and does it well.
Purchased to use with my recently acquired 6 gallon Shop-Vac. I saw reviews that stated these would die basically out of the box, but I found this to be a fairly robust accessory. Taking it slow, I worked up to larger jobs and did not find this lacking. This brush head is best suited for short, properly attached carpet, like those found in rental or commercial properties. Anything more plush should use a upright vacuum or more powerful electric roller brush attachment. For area rugs, even with the vent open, they still have a tendency to lift up, but depending on your use case it can be worth the effort, especially if it means not having to switch to another vacuum or high traffic rugs near exits or outdoors.Users that deal with pets or long hair should take the time to learn how this brush feels in operation so they can clean out the roller when performance decreases, preferably before it jams.It red version has a nice vintage look, but clashes with the more modern industrial look of my Shop-Vac and its accessories. The price is reasonable compared to electric versions and it appears to be a low maintenance device (unless you deal with a lot of hair) that works well on short carpet and concrete floors.

Stick to name brand
For the price it's just ok .. you get what you pay for.. the roller binds up very easily and any less than a 5hp shop vac the roller will struggle even on low nap carpet. I already in two hours of use had to unjam it twice and that is a process ... Well its been a couple more days now and I wish I could give good news but then I'd be lying.. a quarter of an inch screw got pulled up and broke the impeller mount. I don't understand why it broke but it is what it is.. again I say stick to shop vac name brand
