Rimmel London Nail Nurse Stronger Nail Polish, 12ml

I liked this product, it helped to protect my nails from chipping and cracking. value for money i feel.

Having tried the Sally Hansen nail strengthener, I decided to go back to Rimmel having used this product in the past. And it does not disappoint. It dries much quicker, smells nicer and looks better on my nails. The consistency is much better than the Sally Hansen one and it lasts longer. I applied 2 coats and a quick drying top coat which lasted 3-4 days, the Sally Hansen one barely lasted 2 days. Oh and it was much cheaper than the Sally Hansen one. Overall I would recommend this one as its very good for the price and my only issue is how long it lasted but ultimately it’s done the job in that time of helping my brittle nails and making them stronger.

Not very good

This is brilliant! I highly recommend this product. I recently stopped biting my nails after 20+ years of nervously gnawing away at them and when they grew, they were very thin and very bendy. I could bend my nails with the slightest pressure; bending them forward wasn't too much of an issue, but at work, I'd frequently accidentally bend them back which felt unpleasant and would ruin my nail polish. I painted one coat of this last night and this morning I was shocked that my nails were actually strong and firm like they're supposed to be! I really wasn't expecting this to work as well as it has done, just because it was so affordable, but I'm so glad I bought this! It's giving my nails a chance to recover, and in the meantime, I'll be taking vitamins, drinking more water, moisturising my nails etc. to try and get them to grow healthier. The polish itself can be used as a base coat or on its own. It's a translucent pink in the bottle and when you paint it on, but it dries clear. I think with two or three coats maybe it would look pinker on the nail, but it's so sheer I doubt anyone would really notice much difference from a natural, bare nail. It's not overly shiny either, so if you're a guy who doesn't normally wear nail polish, or if you're not allowed to wear polish at work, don't be too worried about this product. It looks very natural on the nail.

Easy to apply and dries in an instant. Seems to stay on and can layer up easily. Ive been using for a couple of weeks or so but I noticed when product is dry and there are 3 coats it is able to be peeled off in one revealing the dry and split nail underneath. It hasnt improved the actual nail itself but rather acted as a protector and improved appearance when product on. The price is especially good but I will look for something that improves the nail itself rather than just sitting on the top.

Very good does stop the nails splitting

I had horrendous gel nail damage on my nails.... in fact they were so bad I apologise for my before photo😂 After the gels were removed... I applied religiously every day and the results are that my nails were still splitting and still cracking. After a month. So it didn't stop the north-south splitting . Another thing I noticed is that when I removed all the layers at the end of the week to start afresh, this varnish turned my nails slightly yellow. Like staining. I wish I had bought the more expensive nail food and drink, but then I suppose the budget in me went for the cheapest option. Personally I recommend using castor oil at the base of the nail too, where it grows it served me much better than applying this varnish on the nail bed. Overall the polish did help my nails to grow stronger, but didn't like the staining it caused. Would I re-purchase? No the before picture to the result picture was about 3 months

Antes de nada, quiero indicar que yo me he mordido las uñas durante muchísimo años. Mis uñas son muy blandas, se rompen con mirarlas y también se capean (la culpable de esto soy yo, porque hay manías complicadas de quitar al 100%). Tras usar recientemente un tratamiento rico en aceites y vitaminas para las uñas (que me ha funcionado muy bien), he decidido probar esta base para complementar. Lo que he notado es que las uñas se me han endurecido más aún, las noto incluso más gruesas. También las veo más sanas. El esmalte queda prácticamente transparente sobre la uña, con un brillo muy natural. No se ve en la foto, pero tiene también como purpurina. Se extiende muy bien incluso poniendo una capa muy fina y en menos de 1 min se seca. El tacto que tiene una vez seco no es "liso", como podría ser cualquier brillo o similar, sino que es un pelín áspero (quizá por la "purpurina"). Sobre el olor, es bastante similar al del cualquier otro pintauñas, pero un poco más suave. Por el precio al que yo lo he comprado (menos de 4€) lo recomiendo. ______________ Edición: El esmalte dura bastante, más de una semana si cuidas bien las uñas. Sin embargo, he notado que si lo dejas más de 2 - 3 días, el efecto en la uña es contrario. La uña se vuelve ligeramente más blanda. Según lo que he visto que a mí me ha venido mejor, el uso correcto sería: limpiar bien las uñas y aplicar el tratamiento de uñas que se esté usando (en mi caso, el de ISDIN), dejar un momento y aplicar después este pintauñas. Cada noche, aplicar el tratamiento en la zona de abajo de la uña si se puede. Después de 3 días, retirar el esmalte, limpiar bien las uñas y estar las siguiente 24 horas sin él, únicamente usando mañana y noche en toda la uña el tratamiento. Al siguiente día, repetir el proceso desde el principio. Si mi experiencia te ha resulta útil, agradezco tu voto positivo! <3

Works as described. As a guy I wear a Matte polish over the top so my nails look strong and natural. Would buy again

acheté pour remplacer un base coat habituel , et vraiment je ne regrette rien ! ce produit est magnifique ! il traite vos ongles , les rends beaux car brillants et plus solides. j'ai très souvent à utiliser des produits nettoyants qui dessèchent et abiment, et l'eau aussi.Depuis que je l'utilise , moins de problèmes et des ongles protégés . Jolie couleur neutre , à peine visible et bien brillante, on peut vernir par dessus , le vernis tient mieux et sans teinter l'ongle ; Que du bonheur ! et le prix !!! Foncez !

Ich habe mir diesen aufgrund vieler positiver Kommentare bestellt und habe ihn auch direkt das erste Mal benutzt. Man merkt sofort eine leichter stabilitäts Verbesserung wenn er aufgetragen ist. Ich habe leider sehe weiche Nägel und bei mir lohnt Nagelstudio aufgrund des Berufes nicht. Die Nägel halten keine Woche. Bis her bin ich also zufrieden
