A very pretty edition; perhaps more appreciated by adults than kids.
This is a very nice version of the game with solid wooden pieces and beautifully decorated board (almost reminds me of medieval patterns). I can't comment on the durability as it was a gift and has only been own for a month and a halfm however, it all seems well made enough. The only thing I would say is if you're looking for a ludo game for very young kids (I was not) you might be better off looking elsewhere as this has very muted colours and the patterns could make the board layout a little confusing for little kids; otherwise I fully reccomend this.

Durable and Lovely
Lovely little item and just what I was looking for. A loveable family classic game that’s durable. It has a very cute vintage design. I am very pleased.

Just ludo, cool design on the box and board, and nice quality dice and pieces.

Classic but missing a few crucial things
Everything was there, although in the “original” game there were “stop points” in this one it did not have any stop points apart from home and there is no dice cup roller thing🥲

Beautifully designed board
Beautifully designed board. Lovely, colourful, wooden pieces. I enjoyed playing it even if my partner didn't (he is a bad loser) and swiped all the pieces off the board!

Disappointed: Item not as shown in picture.
Very disappointed. The ludo board was not the beautiful one shown in the picture, but rather a generic cheap one instead. Delivery came a day earlier than expected. I knew the price was too good to be true.

Old school new school
My 80year old grandfather taught me Ludo back in the early 70’s....I’m passing it on to a generation where the internet rules. So is it still relevant? You bet it is! If you don’t know the game, up to four players have 4 pieces you have to race round the board and back to ‘home’. Sound boring? Oh no - land on another players piece and they go back to the start. Gutting if you’re 6 from home! Speed it up by using 2 dice...for the really young, allow them one piece home to win the game. Feeling devious? Tell them they can’t move without throwing a six whilst stood on one leg! A game to give us ‘olds’ some respect and kick the ‘social internet’ up its arse
