I bought these to replace using tea towels to get hot things from the oven. Too many times i've ended up with the tea towel flopping into what i'm holding. I choose this type of glove as I didn't want a traditional glove. I find them unwieldy and lack dexterity. Silicon is great as trivets and whatnot but i've always found silicon gloves and those puppet like silicon grabbers to be slippery and lack grip.These ticked all the right boxes for me with the above taken into account.After 40 mins @ 190c i took a pizza / pizza stone from the oven and didn't feel any heat at all while transferring to from oven to the side. Held on to it for an extended period of time to test them thoroughly and there was just a hint of warmth but nothing more. Grip was fantastic and felt assured, the length of the glove down the arm is good which protects wrists / lower arms well.It's important to understand that while these and other similar / identical gloves are rated to to EN407 they are not meant for holding molten lava for extended periods! They are rated to 500c but that is only for 15 secs. So they are meant for holding things for brief periods, the hotter the item the shorter the period. It's the same for all the others too despite what they might claim. So i'd say anything from a conventional oven is going to be no problems even holding on to things for a good while.Only two other things of note, from the pictures it isn't exactly clear but there are handing loops inside of each glove which is great for storing them on S hooks. I was happy with that as i wasn't didn't want them in a drawer as i'd be back to using a more accessible tea towel in no time. Finally beware they are BIG, even the biggest shovels of hands will fit in them. If you have petite paws you might not get the same level of feeling in the fingers and they'll act more like a mitt than a glove but still a winner imo.Bottom line, do exactly what they promise and by far the best value of similar products.

The seller contacted me immediately to thank me for the purchase, and enclosed a guide to using the gloves etc. I am very impressed with the quality of my interaction with this company, and the gloves themselves. I can certainly recommend buying from Premiala. The gloves are very well made, with lovely long cuffs, and - as stated in another review - they are rather large. But that is by no means a problem and I look forward to getting much use out of them.

Total protection from DRY heat and especially good when dealing with halogen cookers. Please be aware that they aren't encased in silicone like some other gloves - so make sure that you don't dip your fingers in hot fat.Not a total solution for kitchen cooks ( I think I'll have to get my husband a silicone pair too) but by and large a great buy for BBQ fiends.

Great gloves, I have massive hands and they fit better than most I have tried.

Makes handling hot grills much easier. Not so good for touching food on the grill though. Be careful not to get them wet when using though as the heat gets transferred through the moisture and burns your hand.

By the time you take something out of the oven and on its way to table the heat enters your fingers.. Also very tight at the arm.. I expected something much better..Cotton holders last much longer..

This pair of gloves do exactly what it says it does, Good to wear, and good heat resistant.Distinctive to wear, you can do this with confidence. So for, they have been used in the kitchen, but you can sure they will be easy to use in the garden.

what I liked about the oven gloves was that they protect you from burns but I do recommend you store your gloves in a cool place because it works better for you

Ho acquistato questi guanti per poter armeggiare tranquillamente con il camino, fare barbecue, cucinare su fiamme vive.Sono rimasto sorpreso dall'efficienza. Riesco a spostare i ciocchi incandescenti nel camino senza alcun problema.Mettendoli DIRETTAMENTE tra le fiamme si inizia ad avvertire il calore dopo circa 10 secondi: tempo più che sufficiente per svolgere tutte le operazioni di sistemazione del legno o brace.

I gave this product 4 stars as I just received it and it has worked well but I haven't tried extremely high heat. I've used them on cast iron pans and removing trays from the oven at 425 F and they worked admirably. I haven't used them on the BBQ yet. What I really enjoy is the "Spiderman" grip when you pick up things. This is a far better grip than silicon mitts. These gloves work well.

I guanti presentano una buona qualità generale. Comodi da indossare. Non credo che la temperatura limite sia quella indicata in descrizione. Li ho usati per sistemare, per mezzo degli attrezzi da camino, i ciocchi a fuoco acceso ed avvicinandomi ad una distanza di circa 30 cm dal fuoco ovviamente senza mai venirne a contatto. Ad un'esposizione prolungata i guanti diventavano abbastanza caldi anche all'interno, ma ovviamente non pretendevo un totale isolamento. Non li ho ancora usati con il barbecue, ma credo che in quel caso si comportino egregiamente. Mi aspettavo una tenuta leggermente migliore, ma tutto sommato sono soddisfatto. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo e il venditore è serio e preciso. In definitiva li consiglierei.

Ottimo prodotto, x grigliare reggono benissimo la temperatura sia del forno tradizionale sia del barbecue(a fuoco acceso con fiamma alta resistono al calore x 15/20 secondi, tempo più che sufficiente x aggiungere altra legna) ,molto più pratici dei classici guantoni sia per il fatto che avendo tt le dita libere si ha una maggior praticità nell'utilizzo degli attrezzi sia x la presenza di inserti in gomma antiscivolo che rendono la presa degli oggetti salda. spedizione Amazon cm sempre perfetta.

Ho aspettato un po prima di fare la recensione perché non mi fidavo molto pensavo che durassero poco o che non fossero esattamente come c'è scritto nella descrizione dell'articolo. Devo dire che mi hanno piacevolmente sorpreso. Le utilizzo per il camino ed il barbecue. Ad oggi sono entrambi quasi integri, e resistono bene al calore. L'unica pecca per questo non ho dato 5 è che arrivano fino ai polsi e quindi sul braccio senti il caldo.
