Ok, so I first need to state, I am basically new to darts. While I have played numerous times throughout my life, I have never owned a dartboard nor my own darts. I recently ordered a fairly basic paperwound board; it arrived with what are probably the cheapest, lightest, plastic darts available (junk). I knew that if I wanted to enjoy playing, I absolutely needed some better darts.While searching on Amazon, I came across these CareGames Steel Tip Darts Set 24g with Carrying case and Extra Accessories. What first caught my attention was the price ($8.99/set at the time of ordering) as - being new to darts- I wanted to find a good quality darts at a very reasonable price. I liked the look of the darts as well the fact that they arrived in a handy storage case with various "extras". I ordered one set and then, 10 minutes later, ordered a second given the affordability of these compared to others I looked at.One set of my darts arrived today and, I must say, I am very impressed with the quality, construction, finish, and weight of this set. While, as mentioned, I don't know much about darts, these seem like an amazing product for the price.I wish the darts had arrived with at least minimal directions; while I could easily figure out most aspects about the darts by simply looking at them, there are a couple things I'll have to go online to learn (like what is a flight protector and how is it used? When/why would I want to use the abs tailpiece rather than the aluminum?).I am very, very happy with the quality and price of the CareGames 24g Steel Tip Darts Set and would readily recommend these to others.
