20PCS Barbed Tee 1/2" to 1/4" Drip Irrigation Fittings, Anti-Drop Barbed Hose Parts Connectors for 12mm/16mm to 4mm/7mm Drip Systems 6 Way Adapter（Green）

I used these to create a multi zone timed irrigation for my front yard (3 zones), back yard (3 zones) and veg patch (2 zones). It works great. Only thing is you will have to plan buying end caps to terminate the line. I would have wished to have a kit with couple end caps with this kind of a kit.

It was a little rough getting a tube into the connector. I did have to fold the ends a little to get it in. However, once I got the end into the connector, and worked it into the right spot, it worked great. Make sure to cut your ends clean to prevent leaks, otherwise, the tight connection was all I needed.

These Fittings Do not fit standard 1/2" ID irrigation tubing!The above Statement should appear in the first line of the listing for this product. This fact is mentioned in several reviews, but unfortunately they are not at the forefront.In the USA we have always sized pipe and fittings by the size of the diameter of the flow, which is totally logical. So 1/2" pipe whether it be steel, copper or plastic an 1/2" pipe had an INTERNAL diameter of 1/2", regardless of the outside diameter of the pipe as this could vary depending on use and materials.Now we have materials coming from anywhere, but the USA, so incompatibility is only going to get worse. These fitting appear to fit thin wall plastic tubing 1/2" OD (Outside Diameter) which would be 12.7mm OD. I bought these because they looked like good quality for the price, but only if they work and these do not.

This does not fit standard irrigation hose. Does not fit 3/8 or 1/2" irrigation pipe you would purchase from home depot or irrigation supplier. You can find clear tubing in the plumbing area at home depot that fits but it is only rated for 25psi - typical house and hose pressure is around 50 so use at your own risk.I even took these fittings down to an irrigation wholesaler to see what I could find and the only thing available was some reinforced vinyl tubing that was to expensive to be economical.I ended up returning these and purchased some 1/2" irrigation pipe from home depot and used a "punch" tool to tap off with 1/8" drip lines

These items were the perfect fit for my half inch hose and quarter inch tubing. Easy to put together made the job really quick and there are plenty for the price!
