Great worker placement game. Amazing artwork on the board. My playgroup has been enjoying the game. Setting the game up can take a bit with all the pieces.

I made this purchase after admittedly playing it first at a friend's house. When the instructions were being explained to me at first, my head was spinning. There are a multitude of options that you have for each play and it truly seemed to be very overwelming. I guess that you could say that I am a seasoned game player and even I thought that there were just too many decisions to make each round. However, as the game progressed, all of the different strategies and moves began to come together. There seemed to be an obvious place for each option and although it was mentally "taxing", it was a blast to play.The quality of the board and pieces are top-rate and I enjoyed the "Indian" theme of the game. There are a lot of dice and I found that purchasing the colored silicone cupcake inserts (found elsewhere on amazon) made great holders for each color. They matched the color of the dice perfectly and really served to keep the playing area neat and orderly. Even friends that have short attention spans were engaged for the duration of this game. It is truly a winner and one that should indeed be included in everyone's game library!

Love this game! Rajas of the Ganges has a little of everything, tile placement, strategy, resource management, worker placement, and beautiful dice!! But my 2 favorite aspects of the game are the two-way racing mechanic and using dice as a resource for bonuses and purchasing tiles. I have only played this game as 2 players and it took a little over 60mins because we were still learning the game but it will probably go by quicker over time. Towards the end of the game it becomes a nail biting race as your dice count dwindles and you see the money markers and the fame markers get closer together, you can feel the tension! Love that feeling!! Highly recommend this game!!

This is a great game! Pretty much everything you do can help you out, but the key is to figure out which move helps you out the most. Two words pf warning though:First, the rules about how the market works are hard to grasp, even after reading a few times. My group ended up having to house rule that.Second, the 1st player marker, the royal elephant, is great for the theme, but it keeps losing its legs when it's passed from player to player. You may want to use a substitute in this case.

This is one of those must have games for the avid gamer. There are enough options how to best use your turn that the play of the game isn’t redundant to play again. You’re thinking through what your next moves ought to be. Plus beyond this being a great game, it’s simply an attractive colorful board with exceptionally well thoughtout design. It provides a learning curve to get better at what options work best for you to win! Enthusiastically recommend! This is a superb choice for adding it to the game night inventory.

Wow this game is fun! It has a Lords of Waterdeep feel so if you like that game you should give it a shot.The game is a race to get two different tracks to cross - your fame and money.You also have two types of "currency" you must use and manage.Its beautiful to look at and the components are quite nice - especially the dice and the theme of Karma and Fame and Money all tie together in subtle ways.You can lose karma to change your dice - but the game rewards you occasionally for having good karma.It also comes with what would be an expansion in any other game - the Navaratnas variation.I'm glad I have this game in my collection.

Great game for tabletop board game enthusiast. Lots to do but once you've played a few times it will keep you engaged. Highly recommend. One of our favs!

Oh, wow, is this one ever fun! It's the best race game I have played. While this is not a gateway game, the different actions are simple and the rules are easy to learn. Putting everything together to beat your opponent(s) (so far I have only played twice at 2p, tomorrow will be my first 3p game), is where the fun comes in. I believe there are multiple paths to victory and you have to pay attention to more than one area. Lots of tactical moves to flesh out your strategy and push your way to victory. Our 2nd 2p game took 1 hour and 15 minutes. I am hoping that we can tighten that up a bit as we become more familiar with it. We are not AP prone so YMMV.
