Works better than original Apple Charger
Works better than my original Apple MacBook Pro Charger ! (For MacBook Pro Model A1286, 17 inch Laptop with 15 inch Screen, Mid 2009 Model). This new replacement runs SO MUCH COOLER than my original Apple 85W MagSafe Power Adapter (Model A1290, Copyright 2009, Input:100-240V, 1.5A, 50-60Hz, Output: 16.5-18.5V, 4.6Max). The "L" shaped MagSafe connector fits perfectly into my Mac's MagSafe Port even though my original had a "T" shaped connector of which I was very worried about it being compatible, but, it works great, charges up to 100% with no problem !!! I am SO HAPPY because if this didn't work, I would have had to buy a new Mac which ain't cheap !!! I Highly recommend this charger from this seller.

It does get hot so keep it away from hands
The build quality was good the charging ability is awesome and the cord length is long enough to reach high places, and the functionality is awesome it has a self cut off so if it gets hot it stops charging great product to have

Works great just short
Worked great for my macbook pro that I had since 2013 and charger had broke. Only think was that it was a short cable but other than that was great!!

inconsistent/unreliable connection
The magnet does not consistently connect properly. If you are not careful, it WILL NOT BE CHARGING. You'll have to double check EVERY TIME to be sure your laptop is charging. Once connected properly, it will stay connected and charge without fail. But the initial connection can be problematic. be mindful and you'll be ok.Chord length can be problematic if you are not close to outlet or extension chord. I miss the OEM extension chord. Plugging the heavy brick into the wall does't obstruct both outlets but it is quite hefty sitting there vertically - so far it hasn't fallen out thankfully (about one month of use) but I worry about long term fatigue. Best to use this with an extension chord.

Great Replacement Charger
This is a great charger for replacement or back-up use. I had an older Mac laptop that had lost it's charger. This one works great at a great price.It doesn't have the little "piece of fruit" logo on the side, but I'll take this MUCH less expensive charger that works well instead and keep my cash.
