🦶🔥🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 It Hurt So Good I Transcended Time
This foot reflexology massager is not messing around. I thought I was signing up for a gentle “ahh” moment…Instead, I got a medieval torture device disguised as self-care.I put my feet in. It smiled. I screamed. My toes curled so hard I almost invented a new yoga pose called “Regretful Pretzel.”It attacked pressure points I didn’t even know existed — I think it massaged my childhood trauma through my arches. At one point, I saw God. Then my credit score. Then my ancestors.AND YET… I keep going back.Because after the pain? Sweet, glorious relief. Like angels tap dancing on clouds made of Advil. My feet felt so light, I considered running a marathon. (I didn’t. But I considered it.)If you want to cry, sweat, and thank a wood plank for fixing your entire lower body — this is it. Just don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Wow! Saves money from spa!
As a busy teacher who is on her feet all day ( even with good, expensive shoes on) one of my highlights was getting a decent foot massage which can be pricey. THIS board changed all that. I love it! It takes a few days to get used to and build up stamina ( I did one foot at a time) but it’s my now favorite go to when I get home. It feels so good! I use it standing for a minute and sitting. Hits all the right points and not to sharp, not to light. Excellent for achy feet!

I likey!
What can I say but that the thing does what you think it should do, and that’s good! I place it at my sink so that as I do my morning and evening routines I’m get some reflexology action, and I completely expect that it is doing good things. Just the fact that we don’t walk on natural ground has left our feet undernourished, and probably most of their supportive muscular structures unused. Think about the difference between walking in shoes on pavement (wearing high heels, no less), and walking barefoot on the ground, in the ocean, into the sand. Your feet constantly adjust to the movements of the earth, forcing action and activity in the muscles, causing a probably immeasurable ripple effect.Since we have mostly been deprived of this physical development, I think this little reflexology board is doing a good thing.

Muscle relief!
Soothing relief! I like that the affected body parts are clearly labeled on the board. It is sturdy and well made. I do wish it came with some written information about reflexology.

Works well for a size 9 mens foot
I have a size 11 foot and made the mistake ordering the smaller size, which works well for everyone else in the house, but if you have larger than a size 9 in mens, you'll want the larger one.

Very Well Made; Not Enough Info for a Western Frame of Mind
At the outset, I'm willing to accept that reflexology is a valid treatment for organ and muscle issues. I've felt effects from a few ancient practices that I thought outlandish, so I'll never just dismiss something as mythology. This board is well made, and well labeled. In that aspect, it's exactly what it should be. For that reason, I almost gave it 4 stars. But this is a treatment tool, and there's no information about what that entails. This may be the norm for a culture that has a better sense of this kind of practice, but there just isn't enough information for someone with western sensibilities to feel comfortable that the best (or even adequate) use is taking place.***If that information were included, I'd have rated this 5 stars.***I have three issues along these lines:1.Info about using this should be printed on the back of the board, or provided in a booklet, or even accessible from in a url on the Amazon ad page. There's zero information about how to use the board effectively. Basic use/advice should be addressed:* Should I stand on it, or is it sufficient to sit down and press my foot on the board?* Should I try to focus pressure on a single area? Does treating multiple areas diminish the benefit of concentrating on a single issue?* How frequently should I use the board? Once a day? Once a week? Every time I have a minute?Perhaps precision isn't mandated, but if that's the case, at least that should be communicated.2.The labels indicate what part of the body a manipulated spot affects, but it gives no info about how it addresses an issue. Since I'm treating myself, it would be good to understand a just a bit about what's happening:* What might improve?* What I might experience over time, as the acupressure addresses an area?* How long should I use the board before I *might* notice results?3.It would be nice if the pegs unscrewed a bit to raise them up for focusing pressure on the area that needs attention. Even a few peg covers that elevate the height would be handy (as long as something is included on the board to keep them from getting lost).Or perhaps reflexology treatment doesn't require special attention to a spot that needs improvement/healing.Either way, the user should understand how to best benefit from the board.
