Amazing expansion to spirit island! The box came in great condition and it unlocked several new spirits and aspects to play!

We really love the Spirit Island game series and all expansions. This particular set had all pieces mentioned in the instructions and plenty of bags for storage. Wish there was a bit less plastic and cardboard in the packaging, but we definitely won't be losing any pieces.

I enjoy this game, and it’s cooperatives so it’s good for developing strategies and team work.

I will start by saying that if you are brand new to Spirit Island or if you have barely scratched the surface of the base game/jagged earth, you don't need this product. However as soon as you find yourself wanting more this is one of the best expansions ever made to a game, pound for pound. The spirit design has come a long way, with there being absolutely no misses amongst the roster and there being no awkward design elements like some of the original spirits. Speaking of the original spirits, there are so many aspects for the previously released spirits that either fixes or dramatically changes them to be far more enjoyable that it would take you a very long time to even just play through those. If you are on the fence, take the plunge.

Really great staying power! There's already a lot of variety in Spirit Island, and this expansion adds more variety (both in terms of objectives and mechanics) without being distracting.

I really like this expansion, and every time that I find I want a challenge with a complex spirit, or play with a spirit outside my normal comfort zone, find myself gravitating towards S.I. spirits. I would not suggest this as your first spirit island expansion, but after getting a bunch of plays in with base game and other expansions, I would definitely suggest this one.

This game has a learning curve and might not be the easiest or fastest thing to pick up, but it’s lots of fun once everyone understands it. Might be a bit too much for a younger child though. Anyhow, this is an EXPANSION of the core game, meaning you want the base game and to make sure you enjoy the base game before you buy this. If you already like the base game this offers additional content and is worth the purchase, but I do not view this as an essential buy and thus cannot get there on the full five stars. As with the rest of the products associated with this game, lovely artwork and high quality materials considering the price point.
