Anne 3 Copy Hardcover Boxed Set (Anne of Green Gables)

I haven’t read all three, so I can’t speak to the editing. This review is about quality of the books.The books are vibrant and unique. I love the different colors and styles in the set.The ragged page edges isn’t a huge deal, though I do prefer a straight, even cut.My main issue is with the inside cover of one of the books. They ran out of the print, so they glued the inside cover to the first page so the unfinished inside wouldn’t be visible. This ruins the aesthetics of the book and makes it not match the other two books in the set. Plus it’s just shoddy work. Also, the solid color on the spine is crooked and doesn’t give the book a clean, finished appearance.If you want a set just to have and potentially get beat up, the set would be great. If you want a set to both read, but also display, I would keep looking.

I bought this boxed set of thee hardcover books for $48. The binding is extremely cheap. Each page was a different width. I'm returning them. They are beautifully written and I'm sure I can find a better bound copy.

Beautiful set of books! I love "Anne of Green Gables" yet didn't have a nice reading copy so I bought these and they are lovely! Quick shipping, lovely books and a wonderful heroine-what a winning combination!

I wanted my 13 yr old granddaughter to experience this series of books. She was pleased to receive them.

I'm only half way through of Anne of Green Gables and am already in love with it. Have a perma smile! This review is mostly a write up for how gorgeous the books are. I've been looking for a nice copy of this story and I really lucked out with these.

This review is for the entire Anne of Green Gables series. I loved this series as a child. Anne is my all time favorite storybook character. I read the whole series several times as a child and wanted to own hardcover editions of the series to share with my two daughters. I couldn't find nice hardcover editions of the entire series through the U.S. Amazon so decided to try Amazon.ca. I'm glad I did. These books are beautifully made--exactly what I was looking for!

I haven't read the book yet, but Anne is a classic and there are several printed editions and kindles ones. I chose this because I liked the art of the cover and the box, but the pages aren't alined, so you have unlined pages.

Great stories in a quality binding.
