Gossip Girl Only Better!!
š Just finished Magnolia Parks by Jessa Hastings, and Iām still reeling. How do I even put this into words? This book wasnāt just a story ā it was an experience.I swear Iāve never loved (or hated) fictional characters more. Magnolia and BJ are messy, toxic, beautiful, everything. Their love is so flawed, so real, and it HURTS. Every decision, every misstep, every word ā I felt it all. I was completely immersed in their world, and now I donāt know how to let them go.The emotional rollercoaster this book put me through?? š© I laughed, I cried (a lot), I screamed at the pages. And that ending? Jessa Hastings knew exactly what she was doing. It left me breathless and shattered, with just enough hope to keep me holding on.I havenāt stopped thinking about it since I closed the last page. Itās not just a book; itās a heartbreak, a love story, a whirlwind of emotions that stays with you long after itās over. This is one of those rare reads that feels alive ā messy and beautiful, just like life.If youāve read it, please tell me you felt this too because I need to talk about it! And if you havenāt⦠buckle up. Itāll wreck you in the best way possible. ā¤ļøš#MagnoliaParks #JessaHastings #EmotionalRead #BookLover #PageTurner #BookFeels

Emotional and draining + highly entertaining
This was a 4 for me. Definitely worth adding to TBR, but it DOES end in a heavy cliffhanger, so be prepared. The plot was great and I did t see a lot of things coming so it keeps you engaged and really interested.Small reasons it was not a 5:- some errors throughout - enough that it caught my attention- there were parts where I had trouble following the dialogue slightly based on the writing style. Like I was t 100% sure who was saying what and I had to reread a few parts. Also the texts back and forth - I read in Kindle so maybe different in print, but there were a few where I had to decipher who was who.- for the amount of sex some of the characters are having, the book was a heavy fade to black in terms of romance, which was fine. But there was also (I think) only 1 reference to protection, which is kind of important t to some of the plot times, without giving anything away. It frustrated me that this wasnāt addressed at all.

this bookā¦ugh
Let me start by saying this book is well written and definitely intriguingāit was on my mind all day even when I wasnāt reading it and even when I started to hate it.That being said, every character in this book is toxic. There are no redeeming characters. And Iām sorry, but this book idolizes codependent and toxic relationships and it made me so angry how un-self-aware the MCs were. Like they all have money for therapy and not a single one speaks to a therapist ever?? And you canāt tell me they didnāt know because they talk about ducks having therapy in the bookā¦like come on. Just no. I like the FMC alright but the MMC doesnāt do it for me at all. I donāt think Iāll continue the series.

Enthralling
"Magnolia Parks" by Jessa Hastings is an enthralling exploration of love, heartbreak, and the complexities of relationships within London's elite social scene. The story centers on Magnolia, a captivating and self-absorbed socialite, and BJ Ballentine, a notorious bad boy who has a hold on her heart that she canāt quite shake off. Their tumultuous relationship is marked by a push-and-pull dynamic, as they navigate the trials of dating others while always returning to each other, despite their emotional entanglements and the inevitable dysfunctions that arise. As the cracks in their carefully constructed world begin to show and long-hidden secrets come to light, Hastings skillfully captures the tension and urgency of Magnolia and BJās journey. The central question of how many loves one truly experiences in a lifetime looms over them, forcing both characters to confront not only their feelings for one another but also the patterns and choices that have defined their lives. "Magnolia Parks" is a poignant and beautifully written narrative that resonates with anyone who has grappled with the complexities of love, identity, and the sacrifices made in the name of passion, making it a must-read for fans of intense and emotionally rich romance.

Drama-Filled Romance I Couldn't Put Down!
Magnolia and BJ have a hold on me and I don't know when I will know peace. This has to be one of the most toxic relationships I have read about and I honestly just eat this type of romance up! haha. This story follows BJ and Magnolia who grew up together and dated for five years until BJ unexpectedly cheats on Magnolia. Three years later, BJ and Magnolia are still best friends but have the strangest relationship. Magnolia serial fake dates people to put on a faƧade and BJ is constantly hooking up with girls. They both try to get back at each other which creates an endless, unhealthy cycle of them fighting and making up.Like I said, this is an extremely toxic relationship and this book will definitely not be for everyone. It is frustrating and heartbreaking, but for a toxic relationship, Jessa Hastings did a wonderful job. I agree with everyone describing this as High London Society Gossip Girl, which I loved Gossip Girl so no surprise I loved this. I absolutely adored the world of these rich young adults and the whole box set friend group. There is so much drama but I love it. I am so invested in Magnolia and BJ and the ending was brutal. I needed more of them immediately. They have to have a happy ending, right?!? I can't wait to devour the next two books even though I have a feeling Magnolia Parks: The Long Way Home will break my heart even more!
