PiuPet Cat Harness (S) with 1.2 m Lead, Escape Proof, Harness for Cats, Cat Lead

I’ve been searching for a reliable harness for my sweet little girl, who is an indoor cat but loves sitting in the garden with me while I have my morning coffee. I’ve tried so many different harnesses in the past, and none have given me the confidence that she’s truly safe. Most harnesses may look secure, but she’s escaped from them more times than I can count, no matter how tightly I fasten them. This PiuPet harness is the first one that has given me some real peace of mind. The harness is incredibly easy to put on and adjust, and it’s made from strong, durable materials that feel much more secure than others I’ve tried. The Velcro closures are surprisingly strong, which was a concern for me initially, but they’ve proven to be very effective in keeping her secure. The harness itself is lightweight but sturdy, allowing her to move freely and comfortably, which is important because she usually dislikes wearing harnesses. The stretchy leash is also a great feature, as it helps to eliminate any sudden shocks when she decides to jump or run. The breathable mesh material is a huge plus, especially since she wears it outside during the summer months. It keeps her cool and comfortable without causing any overheating. The faux leather trim is also a nice touch, adding a bit of style to the overall design. I do wish the harness hook was positioned at the top of the harness rather than the bottom, but that is a minor issue and doesn’t detract from its overall effectiveness. She’s a smart cat and has a habit of deliberately tangling her lead around pots, then backing away to pull off the harness over her body and neck. While I wouldn’t say this harness is entirely escape-proof as claimed, it certainly takes her a lot more time and effort to try and wriggle out of it. Luckily, I’ve been able to intervene before she gets it off, which gives me a lot more confidence compared to other harnesses. In terms of fit, I’d recommend ordering a size down if your cat is on the larger side. My little girl is only petite, so the smallest size still came up a little large on her, but the harness is versatile and adjustable, so I can see it fitting a range of cat sizes well. The quality of the fabric is excellent, soft yet strong, and it doesn’t seem to bother her at all. The product was delivered quickly and came in well-designed packaging, which adds to the overall positive experience. Overall, while it’s not completely escape-proof, this harness is the best I’ve found so far. It’s ideal for those moments when I want to take her outside without the fear of her slipping free. I would recommend this 'cat jacket' to anyone who wishes to take their cat with them outside and not be fearful that they will lose their pet. My wife and I researched numerous jackets before we made our choice, and overall we were extremely happy with our decision. The jacket is lightweight, but still sturdy enough to give you the piece of mind that your cat is safe. Once both 'flaps' have been velcroed into place, there is simply no way that your pet will wriggle free, despite how hard they might try. There is ample room to adapt this jacket to a smaller or mugh larger cat, so even if you think you've got the measurements a little wrong on the size of your cat, it won't be an issue. The jacket allows for plenty of room for the cat to walk normally, and although the jacket might initially look a little strange on a cat, you and he/she will soon get used to it. In my opinion, if you want to take your cat with you on holidays / weekends away and have them walk around with you with no hassle or fuss, then this is the jacket for you. A great product!

Neck of my tabby is 1-2 cms above the given description details (ie his being 29 - 30 cm) and his chest is borderline (39 - 40 cm), but when received, although neck was ok (actually still roomy enough), the main body was not as snug as I had hoped - looser in the Medium size chosen. The sizes in the descriptions for these products is problematic. If you were in a pet shop, you would probably make sure, by also trying it on, etc This design, with two closing velcro straps under the body (+ two at the neck), needs to be far closer to the body in order to fix on well, without your cat being able to free himself or coming off by itself. You end up using less velcro sticking length, in order to close it in further. If they provided longer velcro, you would have more adjustment value and still remain secure. Becomes oriented to over size. Lovely, elegant design, but seems difficult to get an ideal fitting for walking. Also the lead is very narrow gauge and the handle section quite limited too. The bodice material frays (thread pulls etc) or indents easily from the velcro straps (sticky) or from the cat's body. I viewed many varieties, and this was one of the nicest looking, which also seemed nearest to the overall dimensions for my cat. It was also more expensive than several other competitors, so feels a bit disappointing now.

We bought a medium which fits our large rag doll cat. Unfortunately this looks expensive but is cheaply made with plastic velcro that we've had to trim the corners of to stop cutting into his neck . The velcro left over from adjusting the fit has no cover over it so it got covered in fluff and grass etc . I think the most expensive thing about this is the little brown makers' name sewn on the back. This has a very cheeky price tag.

The item was as described and arrived on time. It was very well made, looked good and we were hopeful that it would prevent our very small house cat from trying to scale the fence on sunny days in the garden. Unfortunately she was so determined to get out of it, (which she managed to do) it was not small enough. In fairness she is like Houdini. Back to the drawing board.

Fa il suo dovere, è resistente e comodo. Se il gatto vuole se lo sfila comunque (nel mio caso è successo una volta perché ha preso tanta paura del cane dei vicini) ma rispetto ad altri provati, questo mi sembra più sicuro e confortevole. Col senno di poi forse avrei preso una taglia in più solo per agevolare la parte delle spalle, per il resto come misura di collo e pancia è perfetto (la mia gatta è un soriano con marsupio primordiale). La gatta corre e si muove comodamente. La pettorina è facile da pulire e lavare. Il guinzaglio a mio parere potrebbe essere venduto più lungo, io ne ho aggiunto un altro per dare alla gatta maggiore spazio. Consigliatissimo!

Brownie con el bien atado al cuello se lo quito. Porque es muy escapista, pero para gatitos tranquilos muy bueno y queda muy bien. Los hacen aparentar señoritos gatunos preciosos

Very happy with the harness, generally my cat doesn’t move anymore in anytime of harnas. This one he seems not to mind too much and he runs around with ease. Great for a ragdoll

Seit einigen Monaten habe ich schon meinen Kitten bei mir und ab und zu bin ich auch schon mit ihm rausgegangen, was er wirklich toll fand. Doch so langsam wurde das Geschirr zu klein für ihn und ich brauchte etwas Neues. »Inhalt und Anprobe« Man bekommt das Geschirr inklusive einer Leine geliefert. Es besteht aus Polyester und Kunstleder. Es fühlt sich gut gepolstert an und scheint stabil zu sein. Die Naht ist auch sauber verarbeitet. Das Anlegen ist denkbar einfach. Man legt es auf den Rücken drauf, macht den Klettverschluss vorne am Hals und am Bauch zu und dann wird es am Hals noch über die zusätzliche Sicherheit, geschlossen. Einfach, nicht wahr? Aber manchmal mag die Katze es nicht anziehen und dann geht der Kampf los. Gott sei Dank ist mein Kater ziemlich ruhig vom Gemüt her und lässt so einiges mit sich machen, sodass es für mich ein leichtes war. Mein Kater war am Anfang wie in einer Schockstarre, diese löste sich aber nach ein paar Minuten und er versuchte erstmal damit klar zu kommen und damit seinen Laufgang in die richtige Bahn zu bekommen. Sah schon komisch aus, wie er vor sich herschwankte, aber irgendwann hat es ihm nicht mehr interessiert und er lief munter durch die Gegend, als hätte er nichts an. »Mein Fazit« Prinzipiell gefällt mir das Geschirr wirklich gut. Es scheint auch relativ ausbruchsicher zu sein, da man es gut verschließen kann. Es ist noch ein ticken zu groß für ihn, aber da er noch wächst, wird das Geschirr bestimmt noch passen. Optisch ist es auch ein wahrer Hingucker für Besitzer und Begleiter.
