Excellent print quality and simple installation
Always having had HP printers before we were very pleased with this print scanner.Nice size, not too heavy,it installed faultlessly and we were surprised at the fast wifi response as we had always used ethernet before. This makes it easily moveable around the building if required.There is also a very good scanning and printing app from Brother

Great printer
After 30 years of having another brand , i went for this as it was on offer and the ink tanks were massiveEasy to set up and quick to print , especially first page , two trays plus rear feed gives lots of options

A ROBUST, EFFICIENT PRINTER
I've always used Canon and Epson printers and I suppose I've become used to their whirrings and grinding before they made their mind up to clunkily print anything. However, this printer opened up a new world of speed, efficiency and silent printing (apart from Greyscale which clunks a bit due to speed of printing). This is an ultra-efficient printer of near office quality. I was expecting photoprints to be of reduced quality but they were as good as any other home printer I have had over many years.Set up was a bit confusing but a bit of trial and error got there in the end. It is essential to download the apps from Brother to ensure appropriate Windows drivers are loaded. Software has a definite retro feel with dated graphics but works well.Only one snag to date and that is Photoshop Elementsreports scanner "not connected or in use" so currently having to use Windows native scanner or Brother software.All in all quite pleased with this purchase but hope inks last as long as software indicates because cartridges cost an arm and a leg!

Best in 30 years
Probably the best printer I have had in 30 years. My first brother printer too. Amazingly easy to set up and a no Pfaff usb connection. Printed right first time. I had had with the other brands: terrible software, terrible monthly print contract, equipment falling apart after only 2 years of little use . I am delighted with this one.

Brought a new printed
Had a few printers previously but decided to get a different brand. I can honestly say it easy to setup and use as well as print quality great

NOT SIMPLE TO SET UP
I chose is as SUPPOSED to be simple to set up and use.Absolute rubbish.It's awful.I am not happy.Lots of connecting downloading apps and software later and STILL won't connect and work via WiFi.Can you call anyone....NO

9/10 - Amazing purchase
Best Brother printer and overall best printer I’ve ever purchased. Older models were satisfactory but this specific model is outstanding! Setup and installation of software on both mobile and desktop was straightforward and seamless. Build quality is the only drawback, but nonetheless the print quality and accuracy is spot on. Overall definitely worth spending the extra buck on this one.

Great easy to use printer with good scanning and photo quality.I used to have another brother printer that I bought over 20 years ago and it still works, I am only looking for a new one that is wireless and can connect to more modern devices
