This proved to be a great solution for installing a MagSafe iPhone on my new pickup truck for navigation, although it took some trial and error to find the right spot. The size of the suction cup, length of the arm mean it's as flexible as you'd hope. For the price, it's great and the flexibility should fit most cars, trucks, and RVs; I've tried its "fit" on a few vehicles and in every case the model works as advertised "Neat" because the mount is much more snug than it looks. Some drivers don't care about technology on the windshield - they'd love this - but personally, I want to see out of the car, not through a wall of screens. Therefore, for the shallow windshield of my car, it needs to be positioned at the A-pillar and instrument corner. So, the good things are: The MagSafe car mount is great and it attaches well to your phone or MagSafe case The ball joint is adjustable but can be easily tightened. The ball is approximately 16mm, which means you should be able to easily find a replacement mount if needed. The mounting kit includes an adjustable length and angle arm that swivels on the mount, making it more flexible and efficient once attached via the suction cup. The arms are extended, and for a more secure installation of the dash it is necessary to press the snaps on the base. This is a great stability solution for trucks, RVs, or more custom setups. Been having this phone mount for the past year I bought one loved it and I had to get my girl another one so now I got two would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a phone mount for your car.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: It doesn’t stick very well to dashboard maybe because of the texture of the dashboard is not stick-able. However it sticks great to window with no issues and the magnet is strong and doesn’t move! Great product but might want to provide a stronger adhesive for dashboards with varying textures.

Very simple and easy to install in car. Magnetic circles arent hugely magnetic through my thick case so Ive had to stick the magnet on the outside of the case. Tried both options of magnets with the case and both slipped off when mounted through the case. I do have a very thick protective case however so that will affect it massively! However, Ive only had it slip off once in the last month and that was due to the wonderful road being full of potholes and bouncing my skeleton thoroughly enough to feel like it was trying to come out of my skin! Assembling the mount, adjusting it to fit into the window is really easy. Quite sturdy and really doesn't bounce much! Keeps my phone right where I like it. Very happy with the product!

Although I have only used the mount for a week, it's no exaggeration to say that it's really a perfect product. As always, YRU brand products are great! 1. super convenient! More convenient than any previous stand! I've never used a magnetic mount before, and this is the one time I've used it, and it's just soooooo convenient! It can be operated with one hand, and when you get in the car, you can immediately secure your phone firmly in the holder without any additional extra movement, and removing your phone is quick. Overall it's just so convenient that I'm planning to take my old mount home and use it as a desk mount. The magnetic mount really is the perfect gift for every driver! 2. Telescopic Aluminium Alloy Mount Unlike normal traditional brackets, YRU's upgraded bracket allows you to complete the distance adjustment with one hand without having to rotate the nut, and the bracket arm length is also longer than before 3. 360° Rotating suction cup At first, I didn't notice that the suction cup of this stand can be rotated, but I was really surprised to find out later! Rotating the suction cup means: I can adjust the angle at will, but do not need to remove the suction cup from the dashboard or windscreen. This is a feature that no other seller's bracket has. Once the latch is pressed in, the suction cup stays firmly in place. I never adjust the angle of the suction cup once the installation is complete, but I thought maybe my wife would need to adjust the angle of the bracket when she drives my car so that I don't damage the suction cup by removing it repeatedly, but also so that it meets the angle needs of different people. 4. the included shock absorbers YRU is really a very responsible seller, not only did a box come with two extra metal rings (so that mobile phones that don't have Magsafe functionality can use the mount properly), but also a cable manager for headphones and data cables, which I really like! I have had a number of car phone mounts and all of them fell off my dash. They lost their adhesiveness and ended up being tossed in the garbage even after I followed product instructions to rejuvenate the stickiness of the adhesive. This car phone mount is outstanding. It’s well built and sturdy. The adhesive and suction are excellent. It’s extremely easy to mount and accommodates a good variety of phones. The magnet holding the phone is strong and I don't worry about my phone falling off. It’s the easiest mount for removing my phone from. The extension arm is solid and is as long as you would need it to be. It’s easy to adjust the angle and distance from you and you can rotate the mount as well. Customer service is excellent and they are quick to help and answer your questions. This is the only car phone mount I would recommend to my family and friends. You will not be disappointed.

Durability

It was so easy to mount in the car and looks great. One issue and it took a while to resolve was that the magnet is so strong it kept pulling off the round disc on the phone case. Tried Gorilla glue did not work. Eventually put both the black and the white round discs on the case and locked it with super araldite glue as recommended by hardware store. Works perfect now and love it but took some time to get right. The magnetic grip is so strong so perfect for when driving.
